A water pressure booster doesn't require special maintenance. Like any house system, inspections should be a regular part of your annual schedule. A larger well pressure tank won’t improve water pressure on its own. However, bigger tanks don’t have to cycle as often as smaller ones, which reduces the amount of stress on your well system. As a result, a bigger tank can last longer and might experience fewer well pump issues that could impact your water pressure.

Another common question is, what pressure should your well tank be set at? The standard rule of thumb is to set your well tank’s pressure at 2 psi below the cut-on point of your pressure switch.
