"We contacted Pierce L. Shallis Landscaping after doing some research and reading online reviews. We needed landscape remediation as water was building up in the front side of our house (during heavy rain) and wanted a new flower bed as well. I contacted them and they got back to me right away. Pierce came out to take a look and after talking to him, I was confident he had the expertise to do the work. To no surprise, he and his crew did a fantastic job. I defaulted to his opinion about what plants would look great in the flower bed. My only request was a small Japanese maple. The communication was great from start to finish. From start to finish, the experience was great. Joey responded quickly to my initial call, and came out to provide a plan of action. They would repoint the mortar joints in the area outside. Inside, parging and waterproofing paint were applied. All commitments were kept, and Scott did an excellent job. His workmanship clearly demonstrated he has a great deal of pride in his work. I was impressed to find that new mulch was applied to work area outside after the masonry work was completed. That's attention to detail. Dan, and Nathan were also helpful with keeping me informed about weather related issues, and answering questions. All in all, it was a great experience. Chris Natalini from Masonry Inc. was very easy to work with - came out quickly to give an estimate, offered a competitive price and even took care of the permit process with our township, which many service providers don't seem to be willing to do these days. He was able to start when he said he would, although the project was interrupted numerous times during the process due to rainy weather. He was patient and polite throughout, and apologized for the weather-related delays although they clearly weren't his fault. His customer service and professionalism was much appreciated, especially when the initial color of the patio did not turn out as we expected and he came back out several times to apply colored sealant to get it just where we wanted it.
