Also, in regards to our basement, he brought a paint representative to examine our flooring since it had been sealed before incorrectly by a basement sealing company. He sealed our basement floor and it looks great."

The short answer is yes, it’s more expensive. This is because chalk paint is a more complicated blend of materials and is harder and more costly to produce.
