"We were most impressed with the work and professionalism of both Josh and Scott. They worked as a team, answering all of our questions while maintaining efficiency in their job. We are delighted with the look of our awning and the added usefulness of the deck it covers. It would be a pleasure to have this team back again for any future installation. We must admit that we enjoyed this morning's installation of our awning due to the attitude, knowledge, and friendliness of Josh and Scott! The electrician, Scott also did a dynamite job!"

"We had a great experience from the estimate with Micheal to the installation with Ryan and Antonio. The whole process was seamless. Ryan and Antonio removed an old tent-like grill cover and hauled the pieces away. They checked to see if the placement was to our liking before they started. The entire process took 2 hours. Ryan explained all the parts, how to use the remote and care and maintenance. Love the fabric we chose and how much cooler our patio is. We get direct sunlight all afternoon into the evening. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and how it looks."

"My wife and I decided that we wanted a awning to cover the deck of our new condo. We ordered information from Sunsetter and started to do some internet research. It quickly became apparent to us that the awnings from Sunesta were rated among the highest in the industry. Coincidentally, we saw an ad for Designer Awnings. We called and Dario (the owner) said he could come over that afternoon. Dario measured the deck and explained our options. He was able to give us a price on the spot. After discussion, reading the literature that Dario brought and picking a color, we gave Dario a deposit. We needed to obtain permission from our HOA, so we requested that he hold off ordering until we had the permission. We called him back the next week and he told us it would take "about a week and a half". Sure enough in 10-12 days, we received a call and set up an appointment for installation. The installation is both good looking and incredibly strong! Excellent work and an excellent product. Pete and Sue Lynah"

"It all started out well after purchase of the initial Angie's list deal.  We promptly agreed on a date and a gentlemen came to measure and start the paperwork. Install date was set for 11/5/15. On 11/4, I was called about setting an install date.  My response was I already had one for the next day. Long story short, the company did not bother to tell me they had cancelled my appointment, they just acted like I never had one.  It was as though one side of the business did not know what the other side was doing. Since I made arrangements to be home on the 5th, I was not happy.  We finally settled on the 12th and the installation went smoothly enough.  However after completion, I noticed the installers had broken a piece of moulding in front of the patio door.  I know they realized they cracked it because they used clear caulk as a fix. I called the company and they said they would replace.  As of 11/30, the moulding still has not been replaced even though I was told the installer was picking up molding on 11/17.
I will say the person who came to measure and the lady who did the follow-up calling were professional. However, I can't say the same for the install side. The contact person was nice enough but he did not contact me to say the install was cancelled and to me it's taking way too long to replace the molding the installers broke.  I view it as a lack of integrity to cover up breaking the piece and not bothering to say anything to me.  The patio door is beautiful and I had planned to purchase a front door from them but have changed my mind.
