No need to move furniture to open this awning so we have used it almost every day in July and August. We have a deck that faces north and like the sun in the kitchen in winter, so a motorized awning is perfect for our needs. Designer awnings also removed our old awning and used siding I saved in my basement to complete a very professional installation. None of the other companies I contacted would do this for us."
