"My wife and I are very pleased with Dream Maker Pools. They were very attentive to our project and the integrity brought by the crew on our installation was surprising (as you don?t see this much anymore)! Our fiberglass pool was brought from NY, and was delayed a couple of days because of a shipping issue - While we waited for that, the crew completed the excavation, plumbing, and whole pad setup so we could enjoy our pool as soon as it was dropped in. We had thorough communication from the office staff and the crew that came out was great! Josh was very knowledgeable about the system as well. We had alot of struggles with the permit and township wait- but they helped us every step of the way. We would recommend more stars if I could !"

Hello at P-A. Fence we do not want you to be viewed as "Just Another Customer". While some competitors may cherry pick terrain or job, P-A Fence is ready to take on everything from small repairs to full installs. We might be new to the Installing market by name, but we come with 30 combined years of installation experience. We are able to offer various material and heights fully installed Including Wood, Custom Wood, Aluminum, Vinyl, Split Rail, and Chain Link. As well as Hand Rail. To be Transparent a rough estimate on materials to complete a job is required, to ensure no loss on market up on material over night. As the raw material market goes up and down daily. A LLC will have Owners and Employers File 1099 forms for taxes. The business then files it own taxes depending on the profit it cleared in the year. The first step of our process is to see the project needs and give a rough estimate for the materials and labor. We then offer a contractors contract to ensure the legal safety of both parties. The customer then pays the supplier directly or writes a check to P-A. Fence LLC, to purchase needed materials and labor cost for the start of the project. After completion the remaining balance is then due to P-A. Fence LLC written in form of Check or Cash is then documented on a receipt for our tax purposes. Thank you And We look forward to meeting your Project needs.

"The contractor communicated very well with me. He responded quickly to questions and answered them in a professional manner. He promised to start on a certain day, but torrential rain pushed that day back. He did communicate with me as this happened. He finally arrived to start the job as agreed upon and had a crew of himself and other guy and a younger guy. They worked hard and respected my property. He initially quoted 3 days to finish the job, but it took a half a day more which I had no issues with. The fence looks great and is exactly what I wanted. The two 4 foot swing gates seemed to be a challenge, however. They installed them and they were uneven and sagging. He stated that it was due to the weight and length of the gates and the fact that post had to moved in due to cement under the ground that he could not place the post where he initially wanted. I accepted that. The gates had a lot of play and then one of the gates fell from the post a day later. He said it was due to having to rip-cut the gate to make it smaller and the clips were not there. He came back out the very next day and screwed the fence to the post and also did the other side to ensure stability and no further separation. Well, 2 days later during heavy winds another section of the gate came free. He never screwed that part when he came and did the other. The contractor apologized and came out the very next morning and repaired that and the gate seems to be solid now. I purchased a post that goes into the ground after, to add stability and he voluntarily agreed to mount that for me at no additional charge. Overall, the work was done well. He just seemed to have a lot of difficulty with those large swing gates, but did everything he could and always came out the very next day to make it right. They cleaned up everything and respected my property. I would use them again and feel they gained some experience with those types of gates after a few issues. LOL. Thanks again John."

Install Above Ground Pools FAQs, answered by experts

The longevity of pool construction and installation heavily depends on managing extreme weather. PA experiences over 130 freeze-thaw cycles annually, so contractors must install plumbing and footings below the 42-inch frost line to prevent cracking. You must also assess soil stability due to historical mining voids. Finally, proper site drainage is vital to safely handle heavy yearly precipitation.

Helpful?

Upgrade your safety barriers by installing a four-foot fence with self-closing gates around your swimming area. During your next pool and spa service, instruct a local professional to inspect all anti-entrapment drain covers and verify proper venting for gas heaters. To protect pets from steep drops, add gradual entry steps and increase your filtration checks to manage extra debris in Scranton.

Helpful?

For pool construction and installation in PA, vinyl liners are excellent because they flex with ground movement during winter. Contractors use rigid PVC for plumbing installed below the 42-inch frost line. For decking, choose pavers on a compacted gravel base to accommodate frost heave better than solid concrete. You must also insulate equipment enclosures to protect heating components.

Helpful?

Extensive pool construction and installation will directly impact your property. Adding pumps and heaters requires a dedicated electrical panel upgrade to handle the load safely. Excavation alters site drainage, so contractors must grade the yard to direct water away from older Scranton foundations. Installing a heated pool also requires new gas lines and secure municipal water system connections.

Helpful?

High-quality winterization is the single most important factor for long-lasting pool and spa service in PA. Professionals must completely blow out your plumbing lines to prevent winter freeze damage. Proper drainage around your structure is equally critical to prevent clay-heavy soils from shifting and cracking the shell. Finally, precise water chemistry calibration prevents scale buildup on your valuable equipment.
