"Looking for a service to pick up brush that we cleared out in our back yard. Called and came within a day and picked up the next day. Very professional, prompt and very reasonable price. Will definitely use him again if needed."

"Responsive and easy to work with. Organized in their approach to emptying out the junk and loading it to their trailer/truck. Went above and beyond in even cleaning out the little junk, not just the main pieces that were too big for me to handle on my own. Polite and friendly. Had a same day booking discount as they were available."

"We could no longer do our own yard work. The thing I appreciated is how fast Z&W responed to our message and came and gave us an estimate of what we would be paying for the landscaping. The estimate wa reasonable. They do good work and they are easy to deal with. I also like the fact they are trustworthy and show up on time. Keep up the good work Z&W."

"I hired EverKlean Landscaping to do fall leaf clean-up on our knee deep leaf covered lot. His work is excellent. He raked and hauled away all of our leaves, always keeping in contact with me when they were delayed due to weather. He did an outstanding job, charged a fair rate, and was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him!!!"

Small jobs welcome

My team and I have been hauling junk and clearing spaces for a few months now, and in that time we’ve tackled everything from single-item pickups to full estate cleanouts, garage overhauls, and post-renovation debris. No job is too big or too small — even after some time we’ve seen a lot. \n\nWe proudly serve North Jersey including surrounding areas such as Hunterdon, Somerset and Middlesex and we’re happy to travel further for larger jobs — just ask.\n\nWhat sets us apart is our efficient same-day service, careful handling of your home and belongings, eco-friendly and biohazard disposals, donation drop-offs, heavy-lifting and tight-space experience. We know how to work quickly without cutting corners, and we always leave a space cleaner than we found it.\n\nAt the end of the day, we believe junk removal should be stress-free. You point, we haul — no judgment, no hassle, no mess left behind. Our goal is to make your space feel like yours again, and we treat every job like it’s our own home.

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Build your seasonal routine around Scranton's municipal bulk waste schedules. In spring, inspect your property for frost-heaved pavers and flood sediment. During the summer, gather yard waste and renovation debris. By fall, prepare organic debris before the city collection ends. In winter, identify any regulated materials for safe disposal. Scheduling your hauling projects alongside city pickup windows keeps your property clear year-round.

Helpful?

Ongoing maintenance for hauling involves strict regulatory record-keeping. You must retain disposal receipts for regulated materials like coal ash to comply with PA regulations. Repair your driveway seasonally, as winter frost heaves create dangerous ruts for heavy trucks. Additionally, maintain secure tarps and berms around outdoor debris staging areas to prevent hazardous runoff from leaching into the local storm sewer system.

Helpful?

Stock up on traction aids to navigate icy access paths safely from November through March. Keep heavy tarps on hand to cover debris piles and prevent leaching into Scranton waterways. You also need proper segregation containers to separate recyclables, yard waste, and regulated items. Finally, keep blank waste manifest forms ready to document the disposal of hazardous materials during hauling projects.

Helpful?

Knowing your home's exact age is essential, as pre-1980 structures contain regulated materials that dictate disposal rules under PA standards. Check your driveway grade and street width to confirm a heavy truck fits without requiring a city right-of-way permit. You must also check state mine subsidence maps to ensure the ground supports heavy vehicles safely during your hauling projects.

Helpful?

Steep driveways and narrow streets in neighborhoods like the Hill Section make equipment access difficult for hauling projects. Older Scranton homes contain regulated materials like coal ash, asbestos, and lead paint, which require specialized disposal. Additionally, properties built over abandoned coal mines face ground stability issues, restricting where heavy trucks park safely. Finally, narrow basement stairs make interior cleanouts highly labor-intensive.
