"My wife and I just had Oakland give us a quote, plan and then install, pour, a 8.5 cubic yard patio after removing the trex deck that it was time to retire around our inground pool. After removal of the deck it was discovered that there was electrical work that needed to be rerun to our pool pump house and a Jacuzzi we were replacing. And from the plan, to scheduling, to actually accomplishing the task, considering the bad weather we were having, everything was done professionally, and on time in spite of whatever obstacles were thrown in the way. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. "Buyer beware! I have been reaching out to Matt and his company about the job he never finished or fixed for over a year now. I?ve reached out through text, phone calls and email and he just ignores me. About a week after he claimed to be finished the job the stamped concrete he put down started cracking and chipping all over. The stain he put down also started lifting off the concrete. He never cleaned the stain or concrete off my pool liner, fence or lamp posts. When I initially reached out about the cracks and other various issues he asked for pictures and said he would come out to redo the concrete pads with all the problems and fix the other issues. He set a date to come but then when that date would come near and I?d confirm he was coming out he would cancel and reschedule for various reasons such as poor weather causing him to be behind on jobs, multiple employees quitting or not having the appropriate tools available to do the job. At this point legal action is my next course."
