"We purchased three hours on a promotion deal.  The cleaners arrived on time.  They completed the initial items on the list - clean 3 bathrooms and mop the kitchen floor within one hour and ten minutes. The work was done well.  My son suggested to them that if they had time they could clean the windows.  Instead, they left.  They also broke my bathroom scale while cleaning. Bummer.

"A&C Johnson was able to come in at very short notice, and perform a marvelous job of polishing both the upstairs and downstairs hardwood floors to such a sheen, that the reflection of the moonlight shone off them. I strongly recommend their services, and would hire them again for floor cleaning services."

"Sirina's cleaners was FANTANSTIC!!! There were times of miscommunication on both parties and she and the staff always remained professional. They also did my yard and did an excellent job. I will be using this company in the future and I highly recommend them. Great service."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.

Wood floors should be polished every two to four months to maintain a shine and to keep them protected from daily wear and tear. More frequent maintenance includes dry mopping the floors daily and cleaning spills immediately, using a spray mop and cleaner weekly to remove any built up dirt or grime, and sanding and refinishing the floors every three to five years.

Common options include hardwood, tile, and vinyl floors. Professionals tailor methods to the specific material.

Costs depend on floor type, area size, and additional services like waxing or sealing.
