They came back out to look at it and said the unit needed to be replaced. Now, four months later, we get a $90 bill for the second visit. After talking to them, there was no compromise on the second charge. Horrible customer service."

Yes, you can put a freestanding one in a corner if you’re tight on space. Because pellet stoves don’t get as hot as other types of wood stoves, there only needs to be 3 inches of clearance from the wall on each side.
