We give free estimates. You deal directly with the owner and sub-contractors are not used. We use quality material and give up to five year warranties on labor. We are a professional company specializing in roofing, siding, and gutters.

"Very poorly. His license was expired while he was working on our job, they told us it was a 14 day job and 4 months later we were begging him to complete the work. He collected 50% up front but mismanaged the money. The crew never worked more than 5 hours in a day."

Skylights questions, answered by experts

Many homeowners love the appearance of skylights and the convenience of having unhindered access to natural light without compromising your privacy or security. Provided an experienced window professional installs your skylights, buyers will likely see them as more of an asset than a liability, which means they might be willing to pay more for your home. Skylights that open can also provide additional ventilation, and they’re particularly useful in hotter climates, where hot air inside your home can easily escape out of the ceiling where it normally accumulates.

Do skylights add value to a home? In general, skylights are considered desirable because they make a room feel brighter and airier. By introducing natural light into a space, homeowners can also potentially reduce energy bills. However, homeowners should keep in mind that the averageskylight installation costs $1,500.

The decision to remove a skylight depends on your specific circumstances and preferences. There are several reasons why you might consider removing a skylight, such as extensive damage, a desire for better insulation, or the need to change the room's layout. Additionally, if the skylight is causing leaks or other issues, it may be necessary to remove and replace it (which can incur additional skylight installation costs). It's important to assess your specific situation and consult with professionals if needed to make an informed decision.

Common skylight issues include leaks, condensation between glass panes, damaged seals, and cracks in the glazing. Regular exposure to weather elements can lead to these problems, requiring timely attention to preserve the integrity of the skylight and the surrounding roof structure.

This is based on personal preference, budget, and the vibe you are going for with your holiday lighting. If you are looking for the cheapest option, incandescent lights are a budget-friendly choice. You can also opt for sheets of lights that cover areas such as trees and bushes for easier installation.
