"After inquiring of several places, we had not gotten an appointment with someone who didn't have a large wait-time window (4 hours) for the services, while others were too busy to fit us in right away. Since I work full time, I needed better than a "4-hour window" as I needed to not use a half day on this. Neighbors knew Big Dawg's services and recommended them. Checked them on Angie's List for reviews, and called. Matt told me on phone they were pretty busy, but given the need in my situation, he assured me he would fit us in and that Tony would call next day to let us know when. The next morning, Tony called bright and early to let us know he'd be here in 45 minutes, and he was punctual, efficient, and congenial. He went right to work, was familiar with the problems these particular drains have, and had the right equipment to do the job quickly and efficiently --motorized snake with sufficient length of cable, and pressurized water rinsing following the clog-busting has it in good shape now. We were very pleased and thankful for their service."

In the 1980s, Highland Orchards formed a separate Paving and Excavating department. This part of the business has continually grown, under the watchful eye of Bruce Hodge, by purchasing and maintaining the equipment needed and by having a well skilled crew with the expertise to do the job right. Currently, over 150 driveway paving jobs are completed each year, as well as many other site preperation and excavating projects. Bruce and his crew take pride in having the knowledge and the skills to provide their customers with the best quality job possible.

"Excellent! They dug out old asphalt, dug into builders burning hole. The pulled everything out of the hole which turned out to be huge and filled it in with rock. The next day they came in with more trucks and equipment than I ever imagined. They installed the new section of driveway and recoated and leveled the old portion. The reason we chose them was because the install more inches of asphalt than another company we talked to. The driveway is beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Neighbors are already complimenting us on our new driveway."
