"They did an amazing job. Their field man came, Mike, came out twice, to figure out how to install the hand rail. The second time he brought his boss with him. He devised a design which was far superior to what was originally contemplated. And cheaper as well. All-Type-Fence worked with the township to obtain the necessary permit. Mike noticed in the township's original instructions that the fence would have to be set back 6 feet from the sidewalk. Mike contacted me and suggested the township property drawings probably had an error. So I contacted them, and after looking into it, Mike was right ! So we were able to put the fence closer to the sidewalk, realizing a much better look. Brenda in their office coordinated everything very efficiently making the entire project painless for us. The work was completed on the day agreed to and is of very high quality. We are delighted and can recommend All-Type-Fence to anyone. Best contractor we have ever used."

"Masterpiece Fence Company was fantastic to work with. I needed a gate repaired, the gate got repaired and other work was done. I’ve had my vinyl fence for 15 years, I’ve never been happier with it until now. Pablo fix my gate and every other little issue I had with the fence has also been resolved. I’ll definitely recommend him to friends, family, and my community."

"Chris was very responsive and helpful. He listened to what we needed to have done and why.  He gave us several options to choose from and kept us updated on the project.  We liked his work so much that we decided to have additional work done.

"Loved working with Josh from Dream Maker Pools! We were undecided on which type of pool we were going to install at our residence as there are many options on the market and also many different types of equipment to sanitize the pool. We met with Josh and right away we felt comfortable with him. His knowledge of pools was incredible as he walked us though different pool types giving us the pros and cons of each type leaving us to come to our own conclusions. He was a "straight shooter" and didn't sugar coat anything which I liked. He took time out of his day (which was a Sunday) to show us some pools that were constructed and we decided on a fiberglass pool. We went with some recommendations that were thrown at us during that education session he gave us. Finalized everything months later being it was a big decision for us. He wasn't hounding us constantly which I loved and would check in from time to time to see if he could answer any questions we might have. We finally said let's go and signed contracts. Went through line by line on what the expectations were and at each step what we would need to do to complete. The day of install came and pool came for delivery. The install only took a few days which was incredible! I wasn't happy with my yard being obliviated, however Josh didn't tell me otherwise. Said "Just so you know your backyard is going to be destroyed" no way around it...I liked that about him. There is a lot of steps leading up to install, however once they are in line it goes very quick. We had to wait for some time to install concrete around the pool for settling purposes, but as that was taking place I got the yard back to it's semi pre-pool state with grass and final gradings. There were always a lot of questions I had along the way, I must say Josh always answered my call and if not he would text or call me back which is imperative to make the customer feel less anxious. When all said and done the Pool came out awesome, he delivered on everything we discussed and I still talk to him a few times a month. We became friends after the whole experience and I would recommend anyone tossing the idea of a pool around to have a conversation with him. You will definitely understand what I am talking about here in this review! Josh I do appreciate everything you did for me and the family! Pool looks like a million bucks! Thanks again Dream Maker Pools! Cheers!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

You can use pressure-treated wood for a horizontal fence, but you’ll need to purchase a thicker and higher-quality variety to ensure it doesn’t sag or warp after you install it. Use #2 pine grade lumber and boards and thicker dimensional lumber, such as a two-by-six. You’ll also need to use stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners, as the chemicals in the treated lumber will cause regular galvanized fasteners to rust.

The lifespan of a fence can range from 5 to 50 years, depending heavily on the material, local climate, and how well it is maintained. For example, a wooden fence might last 7 to 15 years, while a vinyl fence typically lasts 20 to 30 years. Metal, composite, and glass fences have some of the longest lifespans. Proper maintenance, such as regular cleaning, inspections, and staining or sealing for wood, is key to extending the life of any fence material. Vinyl and composite are durable options that don't require sealing.

Costs depend on material quality, fence length and height, installation complexity, and customization choices, but they average $20-$40 per linear foot.

A horizontal fence is typically more expensive to build than a vertical fence, often costing between 10% and 20% more. The higher cost is due to the need for a higher grade of lumber and more posts to prevent the boards from sagging, which increases both material and labor expenses. Despite the higher price, horizontal fences tend to be more durable and offer a more distinct, modern look compared to the more common vertical picket style. However, they may not be the best option for privacy, as there can be slight gaps between the horizontal rails.

Check with your local laws, which might state that you have to build a fence around your plunge pool. If you have children or pets or live in an area with abundant wildlife, you should consider building a fence around your pool for safety. Pools can present a drowning hazard, and while plunge pools are not very deep, younger children can get hurt if they try to dive into them. A fence can help protect your family and visitors from injury.
