"Ed worked for me on a project at a historic farmhouse which is also a working farm. His work was excellent and polished, he was knowledgeable and efficient, respectful of the property and animals, and even the sheep came up to say hello. Would absolutely hire again."

"They were very attentive to all of our needs. They are very professional. Called once and Dominic came out the next day. Gave me a quote the following morning. We had a mix of things aluminum, steel weld in lift plates. Fixed the bed on a flat bed truck for us some electrical and welding had to be done. I will highly recommend WELDX to anyone. We will be needing there services again very soon. Thanks for doing such a great job. Dominic is who I dealt with he was a good guy,"

Welding questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.
