Customers say: True professional

"Part of our home is an 1850 stone farmhouse. The basement walls, two of which are built into a hill, were beginning to crumble and water was beginning to seep in. Edgar didn't just fix the problem, they exceeded our wildest imagination of what those walls could look like. We've been through some serious rain since and they are perfectly dry and look amazing! If the house falls today those two walls will still be standing! Very prompt service, reasonable priced and super easy to work with. We'll be hiring them again for some future stone wall repair upstairs."

"

We are so pleased with the job that Mike, Charlie, Marty and Wayne did on our driveway and patio.  They did an excellent job!  The bid was what we had planned and their service was impeccable.  They were here for nearly two weeks, always on time and cleaned up the site each night.  They made sure we were happy with any changes that would make to the driveway and patio.  They always consulted with us before, during and after the installation.  They were a pleasure to work with - honest and very dedicated to their work - they paid attention to detail, so the end result was just what we wanted.

We thank them for all their time, effort and experience in making our new driveway and patio just beautiful.  We highly recommend Precision Paving to anyone who is looking to update their driveway or patio.  In our book they are the best and we would use them again for any future projects.  Outstanding Job - THANK YOU."

"Luis was very professional. He, Emilio and Steven worked hard to make sure we were happy with the services, and they took care of our lawn very efficiently. From the time he stopped by to provide an estimate to completion of services was four days. We really appreciate their attention to detail and professionalism!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.
