It required a Herculean effort, and the owner Evan and his crew were more than equal to the task. Evan is extremely organized and had a checklist for what needed to happen in each room. He and his crew worked non-stop for over 10 hours the first day, and came back for a few more hours to finish the next day. Initially, he came over to look at the state of the house and gave me an estimate, but I recognized that it was hard to estimate and that the cost might go over a little, which it did, but I was fine with that because of the unique situation of such a disasterously dirty house, and because I witnessed first hand how hard they all worked. There was no goofing off or slow-rolling. They worked hard every minute and more than earned every penny. The only break was a quick one for lunch the first day and then they got right back to it.
