"The contractor, Sean Hunter, is very friendly and a hard worker. He let me know what needed to be done and why, and he gave me a reasonable estimate. My two decks were badly in need of cleaning and staining and even needed minor repairs for nails sticking up out of the wood. Sean completed the power washing one day, and then he came back and finished the entire staining on another day. He seems to really care about doing a good job and he is a good communicator. He will call you to let you know when he will be there and he is very honest. I would use Sean again in the future for any deck maintenance work I might need."

"We hired Deck-Aid construction as the lower of 2 bids to build a new deck off of the back of our house. The project was somewhat unusual since our backyard layout was very awkward and the project required a fair bit of excavating and cutting through a concrete patio for the footers. In addition, our project required an administrator's exemption as part of the permit process from the City of Pittsburgh. John did an amazing job of working through each of these difficulties and even worked with us (with no cost changes) as we made some minor modifications to the design. Communication was excellent and the work progressed in a manner consistent with our initial discussion. We love our new deck and are thankful for all of the amazing work. They patched and painted the deck and ceiling of my garage to stop the leaking into my workshop.The job came out real good. They had to move the furniture off my deck and some woodworking equipment from my workshop all went well.
