"First of all, the men are very friendly and put up with my two dogs, which is gold star from me to begin with.  More importantly, they showed up the exact time they said they would and worked to completion on the project.  Our dining room had wall paper, which they removed, touched up the plaster in the dining room, primed the walls, and painted them beautifully.  The living room is 16ft. x 23ft, with 17ft. ceilings, they painted the room and it looks amazing.  The the house was built in 1929 and they repaired the plaster in the living room prior to its painting.  Lastly, they painted the ceiling of our foyer and hallway , up the stairs and onto the 2nd floor and the crown molding.  it all looks great, and I can't say enough as far as recommending them, they are just great.  We will definitely use them again...and again...and again!

"Ron did a great job for a good price on our new house, painting the exterior.  Got the work done in the time he said he would.  Ron seems to be an old-school guy that does not take credit card and uses a handshake or conversation to seal the deal.  Was worried at first but he did everything we asked.  Other painters could not match our timing or were very expensive.  Good work.

"Larry painted a rental apartment for us and I was very pleased with his work as well as his work ethics. He communicates throughout the job, always informing me where he is in the progress. There were no surprises. He's very fair in his pricing, genuine and just a great guy and painter. Highly recommend!!"

"Rich assesses what needs done, explains exactly what he would recommend to get the best result and then prices the job. He shows up when he tells you the job will start, stays on the job until it is completed, cleans up so that you don't know he was there and the bill is exactly as he quotes for the work performed. His painters and him are polite and neat. I will definitely call him again for all my painting and dry wall needs . i am recommending him to anybody that needs work done."

"They did real good. They took a lot of pride in their work. They did stuff beyond what I thought they were going to do. They sealed everything. They did two coats of paint and I know they did it throughout every room and hallway. That was something I did not expect. They said they were going to do it and so, they did it."

"We have had periodic leaks in our dining room for 45 years.  It was time to replace the distressed ceiling.  Zach discovered a definite cause for some (hopefully all) of the leaks: improperly installed flashing.  We decided to have all the flashing around the house replaced properly.  And then we decided to have all the windows recaulked.  The redundant convection vents at the peak of the roof were to be removed also.  The dining room ceiling was a mess... this was our original goal and the job grew.  But these guys were able to handle many different tasks.

Zack promptly supplied a reasonable bid to do all of these things and we were off.

Zach and two very nice and very capable workers handled the flashing and caulking first and then worked in our dining room.  The dining room was very nicely shut off from the rest of the house with heavy duty plastic with zippers allowing them to pass in and out.   It was quite messy and dirty where they were working and we barely knew it.  They covered our wood floors with plastic and corrugated cardboard to protect it from falling ceiling pieces.  They worked hard and steadily, always cleaning up after themselves at the end of every day.

They made the job as pleasant as it could have been for us.  The results look great.  I didn't realize when we signed the contract that they would be painting the entire room after the ceiling was completed.  They even cleaned the floor with a wet rag.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.

Yes, but professional services ensure secure installation, accurate leveling, and protection against wall damage, especially for heavy or valuable items.

Accent walls can feel out of place or distracting if not well designed. Accent walls that don’t fit in with a room’s style can feel jarring or overpowering. Some accent wall styles can also feel dated, but fortunately, it’s easier to update a single wall than an entire room.

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

Painting over wallpaper is an efficient way to cover it if it’s in decent shape. Before painting over wallpaper, make sure the surface is clean and smooth. You may have to remove minor problem areas, such as lifted seams or small peels, with a sheetrock knife or putty knife. Add a latex- or oil-based primer to keep moisture at bay before painting. You’ll likely need two coats of paint to cover the area.
