"Oscar from Drywall Taping replaced the ceiling and part of the wall in the garage, it was fine. Regarding the bathroom, in spite of agreeing to replace both the wall and the floor, including this service into the invoice, and agreeing again to do it via text, he didn't. He told me the vanity will fit perfectly into the opening in the floor, and it didn't. The plumber had to use a piece of wood the next day, and you can see the subfloor around the vanity. Unfortunately the plumber didn't tell me anything, I had to see it for myself when I got back home. Now I have to remove the new vanity to fix the floor, and then install it again. I paid the plumber $570.00. Oscar from Drywall Taping Plus was supposed to come on Saturday to fix the paint job. First he said, at 11:00 am, then at 9:00 am, and he never showed up. I texted him that I want my money back for this job and texted him the pictures of the floor around the vanity, but he and his customer service never responded to me."

"Rich and his crew renovated our kitchen from top to bottom, all the old removed followed by custom cabinetry, new sink and faucet, micro hood and tile backsplash. They also did the electrical and installation of 5 ceiling fans throughout the house. All the work was beautifully completed, friendly and professional work crew. All work was completed in about 8 business days and cleaned up before they were finished. This crew takes the time and puts the extra effort in with attention to detail. "Its ok. I gave them a check for the total of $9500. He supposed to give me a receipt but never came back. I called him over 10 times already but no answer. He is not answering his phone. He damaged my table, the glass was shattered, they never told me that its broken. When they finished cleaning up they left. I started asking for a receipt since September 12 and it is over a month now. He also was asking me more money when he finished the job."

Generally, your homeowner’s insurance might only cover ceiling collapses caused by problems under the coverage, such as a busted pipe. But if the ceiling collapse resulted from owner negligence, maintenance issues, or other reasons excluded by your policy, you could be on your own. Some policies might cover damages caused by the collapse but not the repair itself. Check with your policy carrier for the most accurate information regarding ceiling collapse coverage.

Venetian plaster walls tend to be beautiful and attractive. While applying Venetian plaster to the walls of your home won't have the same impact on its value as renovating the kitchen or remodeling the bathroom, the plaster can make your home more appealing to potential buyers, leading to higher offers and more competition when it's time to sell.

Smaller is better when patching holes with spackle. Any holes wider than four to six inches in diameter tend to be too wide to repair with spackle alone. You'll likely want to patch bigger holes with a drywall panel. 

Even holes measuring up to 6 inches may be challenging to fill with spackle alone. For best results, purchase a wall repair patch made from wire mesh. Cut the patch to fit over the hole, then use the spackle to hold it in place. Apply the spackle over the patch as you would for a smaller hole.

If the water damage is small, such as small patches, you can paint over the area. To prevent mold growth, roll on a coat of an antifungal primer beforehand painting. However, if the damage is more extensive, you may have mold, and the plaster will be compromised. You’ll have to replace the plasterboard.
