I hired Kieran and his team to restore the plaster throughout my home, which dates from the 1890s. I am beyond thrilled with the results. We had extensive cracking and separation of the plaster from the underlying bricks and wood lath. The results are incredible. Our walls are now smooth and solid and look amazing. I highly recommend Bestwall Plastering.

Bestwall Plastering are professional and experienced they removed the damaged parts of the wall and ceiling and repaired them perfectly. After a week, they came back and painted the whole room for me. Excellent job. Would recommend

Kieran was incredibly professional. He arrived exactly on time and started working immediately. He covered every single area of the room in plastic before doing any plaster. He finished in a timely fashion and cleaned up the entire room before he left. It was like he was never there. He did an absolutely brilliant job!! Would hire him again in a heartbeat. I contacted them to get an estimate, they came and gave me a written estimate, I shopped around as I initially thought it was expensive, however after meeting a few other contractors, I realized that it was not that pricey as I was getting a better service and product. The walls and ceiling were repaired to perfection and I could not be happier. Would recommend - very professional, courteous and experienced.

Best Wall plastered my electrical outlets to the wall. Advertising as a professional, this should never have occurred in the first place. Pictures before and after fixed. Not much better. Had to return to replaster the ceiling and wall due to defects not covered initially.

He made his appointment on time and spent about 15 minutes review and writing up his estimate. He was courteous. The estimate was over $4,000 for the capital and staining. I feel as if the $75 look/see was just an easy way to make a couple of dollars in between jobs, He had beautiful pictures of very expensive plaster molding jobs, Customers need to know that if they want services from Bestwall, be prepared to pay big time.

We bought an older house that needed plaster repair as the condition of the walls, ceilings,were not great,We contacted Bestwall Plastering who came by and provided a written estimate and explained the process, time frame.they started within a week and the job went well, the end result is that  our house looks like new, they used the old plastering methods not compound/spackle the whole process was clean not to much dust they were on time ,easy going and worked hard.Overall we had a great experience and would use again.

The process was great and the work impeccable. It was easy to set up the consultation, which is $75 but applies to the cost of your job should you proceed. This is well worth it as Bestwall are expert plasterers, not some fly by night home improvement shop trying to make a quick buck. Even if you don't use them the information from the consultation can be used in your planning with another contractor and almost no one knows about plaster work anymore. The work looks great and was done sooner than expected, they were willing to work weekends in order to finish as quickly as possible. And the best part, Kieran even helped me work with my insurance company so almost none of it came out of my pocket. Great experience, recommend without hesitation.

WE had a pipe break from upstairs which flooded the ceiling,walls molding. We found it hard to find a contractor who could restore plaster. We were glad to find Bestwall Plastering who provided a written estimate and also helped us with the insurance carrier. They were polite,clean on time The job took 8 days and turned out spectular. I was offered 2 choices make it look good or make it as good as new. I chose the good as new since I plan to live in my house for a long while. It was a big job taking a full 5 days (about 65 man hours), 2 days for the living room and a day for each of the bedrooms.  The plaster has to cure for 30 days before priming and painting, which I did myself.  If you desire Bestwall Plastering will do the priming for you.

I could of had the old plaster ripped out and sheet rock installed for less money but I wanted to keep the integrity of the house and I like the advantages of plaster over sheet rock e.g. low sound transmission, better fire resistance. It was amazing to see the difference the repair made, the cracks were all gone, water damage invisible, and small gaps gone.  After the priming and painting the ceilings were beautiful and probably looked like they did 100 years ago.

My one complaint is that small droplets of plaster on the walls weren't cleaned up in two of the bedrooms.  The floors, walls, and furniture that was unable to be removed are protected by plastic sheeting.  On the days that these bedrooms were done there was only one laborer and small splashes of plaster on the walls were missed and not wiped up. I cleaned them off latter myself using a drywall mud knife.

This could not have gone any better.  Tony arrived punctually at the exact time he promised, looked at the cracked ceiling and then gave me his estimate.  We arranged to have the work done over Saturday and Sunday.
Tony uses the old fashioned way to repair plaster, using disks drilled into the lath with 4-inch screws, and then uses a mesh which is later smoothed over with plaster.  Nobody had ever repaired my house this way.  The result is spectacular.
My house, located in Brooklyn Heights, built in 1828, had lost many historic details in the past. Fortunately, the way Tony did the work, we were able to save and restore the 10-inch ceiling molding as well.
As to cleanliness, Tony used every precaution--covered my tenant's large paintings and removed and numbered the ones small enough to take out of the room, to later replace them where they belong.  He also covered the floor, staircase and entrance.
Amazing professionalism, punctuality and work quality.  Deserves an A+, were that available.
And yes, I'll hire him again, to paint the ceiling once it's dry, and to repair my stairs ceiling plaster, where it's cracking around a bend.

PERFECT!  Kieran arrived promptly when he said he would be there, gave a fair estimate of the cost and repaired the ceiling the same day.    He was very personable, professional and an expert at what he does.  I could not be more pleased.  I would definitely use him in the future!

Kieran responded immediately to my call to set up an appointment.  He was prompt and professional in explaining what steps needed to be taken to repair the plaster walls in the 77-year old home.  He and his assistant, Sergio, began their days early and completed the work as was laid out in Kieran's plan in a timely manner.  They took care to work as neatly as possible, although dust from this type of work is inevitable.  They cleaned up the workspace when done with the job as well.
Kieran's work is exemplary.  He is a true professional, and stands behind his work.  We followed his advice to wait two to three weeks before painting to allow the plaster to cure.  At the end of the curing period, we were getting set to paint, and noticed parts of the finish on one wall did not look as smooth as the others.  I described it to Kieran as looking like the veins on the back of your hand.  He came the next day to assess the problem, and repaired the sections that needed it that same day.  The problem did not recur.  Since then, the room has been painted and looks fine.
We chose Bestwall Plastering because of the excellent reviews from other Angie's List customers, and feel confident in giving them the same excellent recommendation.

Kiernan was very prompt with his replies, and gave an honest and professional opinion on what I wanted to be done and what he also suggested to be done. Once I decided to work with him, an opening was available to get the job done within the next couple of days. He and his crew came on time and was able to complete the wall and ceiling within 5-6 hours. They brought in their own equipment and covered and cleaned up during and afterwards where they could. Overall, the job looks fine and I do feel better now that the wall and ceiling have been reinforced to last a long while more.

The workers showed up promptly at 8:00 and were very professional. They put plastic over every doorway and cleaned up after they were finished.
