"David did drywall replacement in my living room dining room, he installed laminate flooring in my living room, dining room,he rebuilt my deck, and did work to my hallway and bathroom, his work is amazing, cleans up after himself, on time, and the prices are reasonable, even with miscommunications he is very flexible. "Dan and Tyler did an excellent job. We had them paint the fellowship hall at our church. They painted the walls and doors, installed molding around one of the doors, and replaced some ceiling tiles had were damaged. We have used Dan for other jobs around the church. He installed a new railing at the entrance to the church, installed wainscoting and painted the interior of the sanctuary. I have used him at our house. They are our go-to company for jobs around our house as well. Last year they installed a new sliding patio door in our family room. I don't bother getting other estimates from other companies. I know others will probably be higher in price and I know that Dan will do an excellent job. I recommend him highly."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

The plastic in composite decking boards protects them enough that you do not need to paint them to prevent warping. In fact, painting composite decking voids the warranty of some manufacturers. Painting can also increase maintenance on the deck, as you must paint regularly to keep it looking its best.

You should refinish your deck to maintain its appearance, durability, and longevity. Refinishing your deck protects the wood from foot traffic and the elements. It also helps extend its life span by keeping rot, mildew, and termites at bay. By maintaining your deck, you can avoid the cost of replacing your deck sooner. A refinished deck also looks great and restores some of its original beauty.

Yes, professionals offer slip-resistant options for added workplace safety.

If you don’t treat a cedar fence, it will turn from reddish brown to gray over time. You can keep the cedar from graying and retain its attractive, deep red color by sealing your cedar fence with a stain that keeps the wood’s oils in and serves as a barrier against the sun’s UV rays.

There are more pros than cons when staining a deck. Deck stain is more affordable than paint, it protects the wood and allows the natural textures to shine through, and it can revive the appearance of your home. However, deck stain also requires prep work (sometimes days or more), carries more upkeep than a painted deck, and can fade over time if not cared for.
