Stoney Ridge Home Improvements, LLC replaced the decking & railings on the second floor deck that is off of the master bedroom. They also replaced the railings on the front porch several years ago and this year they replaced the decking on the deck at the back of the house. Jake and the crew were very professional during the entire installation, even after discovering mama skunk and her 4 babies that had taken up residence under the back corner of the deck. The crew cleaned up at the end of each days work leaving the site looking presentable. Attached are some before and after photos. Jake and his team showed up bright and early in the freezing cold and got right to work. The finished product looks fantastic and I'm looking forward to hiring them in the future for additional projects. Jake arrived on time to quote the job, and once the job was on the books, he took care of everything. He secured the architect's drawings (required by the township), applied for the permits, started when he promised, and finished in two weeks. Our deck is about 340 square feet with 160 square feet being covered. He was able to tie into the house in such a way that it looks like the deck and roof have always been there. We opted for composite decking with Azek wrapped posts and beams. He and his crew were meticulous in their work, and he was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process. I asked for a change midway, and he accommodated my request without missing a beat. He is detail oriented and gets the job done right. He recommended a change that made the finished project look even better. I couldn't be happier with his (and his crew's) work, and I would hire him again without reservation. Actually, I asked him to quote replacing some worn out windows, so I am planning on hiring him again. I will recommend him to anyone who needs any of the services he provides. He will do right by you.

There was an issue with the original installation. The posts were a slight bit too tall and caused things to shift a bit. I contacted Jake and he sent his guys out to take a look. They gave me some options and I decided to have them shorten the posts, which they did at no additional cost. I was prepared to have a long drawn-out battle. You know...you hear the stories or may have gone through it yourself. Not these guys. They stood behind their work and made it right. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Jake and his crew were efficient and professional. Great work to our deck to remove the hot tub and replace the boards with improvements to design and functionality. Would definitely hire again!

Well I don't think there are anymore descriptive adjectives left to describe the great work of Jake and his crew. I'll try to touch on some other aspects of his work. First his price is for a complete job. We had other estimates that would start out low for our deck then they would say do you want us to demo your old deck that's another cost. What about removal of the old wood that's another cost for a trash bin and so on. Never sure what the total would be. Next was how Jake was concerned where the trash bin would go as to not impact my wife and I. Then there was the clean up, every day no flat tires. As the job progressed Jake took care in protecting the new material that was installed by covering it and even laying down plywood on the flooring to protect it. Due to several rainy days he installed tarps and a temporary gutter to keep things dry. When ever any of the crew had to come into the house they would take off their shoes. This company does excellent work. They arrive when they say they will,do excellent work and clean-up everyday at the end of the workday. There was some hidden problems with the original construction and Jake Esh , the supervisor, offered some excellent solutions to solve the problems. The bid for the work done was also better than any other I received. I would highly recommend this company.

Jake and his crew did an absolutely beautiful job on our new deck. Being new to the area, we weren't sure who to hire or what level of craftsmanship to expect. We are so glad that we chose Stoney Ridge! We are incredibly impressed with the quality, attention to detail and design o our deck. They were consummate professionals in how they managed the project, including communication. We were kept informed every step of the way regarding the township permit process. We had other work happening on our property and even the other workers commented on the quality of Jake's work. We recommend them enthusiastically! You will be pleased!

Excellent. We could not imagine this project going better! Jake Esh's approach to our project was extremely professional. He was very patient with us during the design / planning phase, and offered many suggestions that resulted in excellent results. For example, he suggested adding an additional two steps to the staircase going down to our yard, pointing out that the existing steps were steeper that they should be. Being seniors, we really appreciated the upgrade. Jake suggested framing the deck , and using the invisible nail system, versus the standard design. The Stony Ridge price quote came in lower that our other proposals that did not contain the upgrades. Jake and his men were extremely professional and considerate during the entire project, completing it well within schedule. Very, very detail oriented. They discovered a wood rot issue at the base of one of my walls , pointing out improper installation. They removed the siding, replaced the damaged plywood and properly replaced the siding at no additional cost. We were amazed, because they had a perfect right to charge us additional but did not. During the install I requested accommodations for me to install a fan on the Pergola. Again Jake installed a frame for me to mount my fan to at no additional cost. During the project we were so impressed that we requested they add installation of two doors. We were given a more than fair price, and the door installation was also excellent. Our deck turned out absolutely wonderful. Our friends and family all say that it's the most beautiful deck that they have ever seen. We agree! Vincent and rose Grisafi

Fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about Jake and his team. Great guys doing amazing work. I would hire them to do any work needed with absolutely no hesitation.

Jake and his crew were terrific. When I requested an estimate, Jake himself (the one who would be doing the work) came and talked with us about our plans ( Other companies sent salesmen). He gave us some good suggestions and gave us an estimate for an 18 foot deck and also what the price increase would be if we went to 22 feet. They picked up and left the site clean after each workday. It was very high quality work with attention to detail: the stair and deck corners are mitered! I would definitely hire them again.

Jacob and team did an amazing job. They demo'd the existing deck in a half day and complete the replacement in just 4 days. The deck is beautiful and the craftmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend Jacob and team.

A++++ Jake and his crew are the very definition of professional! Polite, knowledgeable and meticulous throughout the entire build. My wife and I really can't say enough about these guys. They came when they said they would, worked very hard in terrible conditions (freezing temps with snow and wind) and cleaned up the job site after. I was always kept in the loop with the construction and if any questions came up during the build I was immediately notified and given some options on how to best move forward. An absolute pleasure to work with and will most definitely hire again. Thank you SO MUCH Jake from myself, wife and daughter!

Jake and his crew were outstanding on timeliness and details on the deck. If he found the even smallest mistake he fixed it or replaced it. The deck looks beautiful and cannot say enough good things on how they did the job. I would highly recommend Jake and Stoney Ridge for any future work.

After the initial contact and seeing the pictures of the damage, Jake gave me a quote, which was reasonable compare to the other quotes I received. I asked Jake to put me on schedule and he confirmed that he was able to do the project in the same week, which was fantastic. In contrast, I would have to wait up for another 3,4 weeks if I had decided to go with another contractor. The job was professionally done. Both my tenants and myself are satisfied with the job. The communication was also smooth and timely in the process. I cannot recommend Jake enough. Will definitely come back for future project.
