Our deck was in disrepair, and we’d been thinking about expanding it for a while. We first connected with Al but had to delay the project due to some job changes. He was incredibly patient and understanding, and when we were finally ready to move forward, he picked up right where we left off without missing a beat. As often happens, our project grew—from a simple deck replacement to a beautiful screened-in porch with an extended deck and a walkway leading to our pool area. Al offered fantastic design ideas that truly brought our vision to life, and he was unbelievably patient as we made MANY changes along the way, including some that were very last minute 🫣. His team is made up of hardworking, professional, and courteous craftsmen who impressed us every step of the way. They worked efficiently and cleaned up the job site thoroughly every single day—honestly, above and beyond anything we’ve seen from other contractors we’ve hired. The final result is a space we absolutely love. We spend so much time out here now that we can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner

Al's team built our dream deck! From the get-go Al was completely available to come to our house to walk through what they could offer, timelines, prices (unbeatable!), etc. The professionalism was never in question, and we were always able to reach Al and the team when we needed something. They offered suggestions and advice, and they were able to show examples from other projects they've done to help us visualize our space. The project was done early, and the team was an absolute joy to have at our house. This deck is so much more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and it is where we will be hosting family events and spending many moments. It's been our biggest addition to our home. Al’s Home Improvements was contracted for a complete deck rebuild. The old deck was 40 yrs old. They also did some very challenging post replacement under a sunroom and replaced some old window trim and soffit on front of the house. Their work was of excellent quality. Al’s crew was efficient and very attentive. The customer service from Al and the crew was even better. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We are so pleased with the transformation that Al and his crew did to our home! The increase in beautifully crafted living space is a dream come true! Everyone we encountered during the project was kind, courteous, and professional. So thankful we added heaters and the fireplace to enjoy the screened in porch further into the cooler months, and nights around the firepit on the patio have been amazing.
