"I recently hired Edgar from Lifestyle for my overgrown yard, and I couldn?t be happier with the results! He showed up right on time, was super professional and friendly, and tackled everything from mowing and edging to weeding and fertilizing. My lawn looks lush and manicured now?it?s like a whole new outdoor space. Great value for the price, and I?ll definitely be calling him back for regular maintenance. Five stars all the way!"

"Green ML does an amazingly beautiful and thorough job on our lawn. They also installed roughly 900 feet of post and rail fence at a very fair price and did it in just a few days! I highly recommend Green M L Outdoor Home Services with no reservations."

"Ryan returned my call, stooped over that morning to assess the yard, and called back with a quote, all within a few hours. It was a reasonable quote and he said he could do it the next day! They came early the next morning to clean up my out of control weed jungle, and cut down some runaway ivy-like plant that was covering my evergreens. I came home to a clean yard, and I was so excited to finally see it, and not a single weed in sight. I would definitely recommend them!!"

Small jobs welcome

"We were very happy with the guys who came to remove poison hemlock from our property. They were very knowledgable in the removal and disposal working through a heatwave in the area. A return trip was even made to make sure all of it was found, pulled and disposed of. I would highly recommended Jayden and Shane. They did a thorough job."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

There are organic herbicide options that will kill grass but not flowers, including white vinegar or a dish soap solution. Commercial selective herbicides can also target grass over other plants, but read the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your garden. Herbicides that kill grass but not flowers usually include ingredients like clethodim and sethoxydim. Otherwise, your best bet will be to weed by hand.

Mowing is one of the most important ways to maintain your lawn because it encourages grass to grow horizontally, creating a fuller, more uniform yard. On top of mowing your lawn, you’ll want to routinely fertilize your lawn, water it regularly, and take care of pests the moment they arise.

Too much clover in your lawn can indicate several issues with your soil. Clover can thrive in soils with abnormally high pH, low-cut grass, and low nitrogen. Amending these issues can push clover out for good.

Hardy perennial clover loves the low nitrogen and compact conditions that often come with poor, infertile soils. But other factors also contribute to a clover explosion, including drought conditions, cool temperatures, under fertilization, and over-irrigation. You’ll need to evaluate all these elements when planning to kill off the clover.

Noxious weeds can be poisonous or act as an irritant to humans, but not all are directly harmful. However, indirectly, noxious weeds also compete with native species, effectively affecting our local ecosystems of plants, pollinators, and other animals.

Yes, vinegar can be an effective way to kill individual dandelion plants to help in the hand-removal process. However, vinegar can also kill turfgrass, so use a targeted spray.
