"Very happy we had Contek repair and remodel our living room. Started with a prompt visit by Corey and a detailed quote shortly after, and we then got on their schedule about 6 weeks later. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. We did have a few finishing items we weren't initially satisfied with, but I'm only saying this because they made it very clear that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied, and to tell us of any concerns. Dan really went above and beyond here, and he and the crew addressed each of our concerns. Employing approximately 100 skilled, trained, and background checked professionals, Eastern Surfaces can fulfill any/all of your countertop needs.
"Do not hire this company and Lowe’s should stop using them as a subcontractor. They do not care about jobs done through Lowe’s despite them being just as expensive. Got very expensive quartz countertops. They showed up last minute 4pm in a 12-4 window and rushed the project to finish it in just 45 minutes. There were several damages to the quartz and it looked awful. The guy pulled a bait and switch and said he could come back the next day. When I called I was told they don’t know why he said that and “have no idea where he is, he’s busy” and that I’ll have to take it up with Lowe’s. I certainly am taking it up with Lowe’s but the company that did the job and received the money should have a little more pride in their work. If you do go through Lowe’s in PA, tell them you don’t want Eastern Surfaces."
