General Contractor/Handyman. My motto is "Doing it right at a fair price!" I usually work by myself. However from time to time depending on the size of job, I may use a sub-contractor to help. All estimates are free and very detailed so customers now exactly where the money is being spent. I do try and require financing upfront for all material and then when the job is finished the remaining balance. If the job last longer than 2 weeks, I request a portion of the remaining balance at that time and the rest when the job is completed, or every 2 weeks there after. I am Fully Licensed and Insured.

We are a remodeling company that the owner has 30+ years experice in a multitude of fields. We have done work for all the big high dollar companies. Our goal is to take care of you at a reasonable rate and do quality work. We are family owned and operated. We don't have a 100 sales people and 100's of workers to pay due to the fact that the guy selling the job is likely the one to do the work and stand behind it.

We are a two man company bringing you general household repairs and meeting some of your smaller construction needs. Prices may vary depending on the distance but our standard fee is $35 per hour. A minimum of $80 will apply to all jobs. We are also open for sub-contracting jobs.

"Helpful Hands Handyman remodeled our main bathroom...new vanity, sink top, toilet, fiberglass tub, new fixtures, and floor. We are thrilled with the job they did. I lover our new bathroom! They were very responsive to our requests and were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. I recommend them highly!"

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

If you’re looking for a reputable furniture repair company, the best-case scenario is getting a referral from a trusted friend or family member. However, you can also ask local furniture repair companies about the following points to determine their experience and quality of work:

  • Warranty for structural repairs

  • Positive online reviews and Better Business Bureau (BBB) ratings

  • Number of years of experience

  • Specific expertise with fixing your type of furniture

  • Ability to carry out on-site repairs to avoid damage during relocation

Follow care instructions based on the material, regularly clean, and avoid moisture or heat exposure.

Careful measurement is crucial—measure multiple times and account for hardware thickness, seasonal wood movement, and clearance requirements. Test-fit components before final assembly, and consider building one drawer as a prototype before cutting materials for multiple units.

When deciding whether to repair your leather furniture or not, consider a few advantages and disadvantages:

Pros

  • Less expensive than buying a new piece

  • Extends the life of the leather before replacement is necessary

  • Makes your leather item look like new

  • Some repairs are relatively easy

Cons

  • Some repairs may be costly

  • Damage may not be repairable

  • Repairs may not blend perfectly with the original leather

  • May need to leave the piece with a repair expert

Yes, there are several wood filler products on the market that look like wood. Your best bet is to take a cabinet door to your local hardware store to match the appropriate wood filler to your door. Some brands make filler that is masked to look like wood and can also be sanded, cut, stained, and painted.
