We've had them at our house 2 times. Once was for a refrigerator. This time (October 23, 2024), it was for a clothes washer. Same as before, they were prompt, professional, courteous, informative, and very reasonably priced. Their repair to our washer prevented us from parting with a washer we really like. They saved us several hundreds of dollars (probably more) by repairing our clothes washer.

They were amazing and I could not have expected any better! Service was amazing, timely, clean, and reasonably priced. They were able to do the repair immediately since they had the faulty part on hand. Even gave me some good advice on preventing the issue from happening again, and some suggestions to better maintain my washer, too. As a bonus, they shortened my vent hose and were able to recommend (at my request) someone to replace the flexible hose with solid venting in the future.

Great! We discussed the problem over the phone and they actually diagnosed the problem over the phone with my description and they were correct. So, the part was ordered before they ever came to the house and when the part came in, they called and came right over, and it only took a few minutes to fix the problem. Also, their were rates were more reasonable than other appliance repair people. We will definitely call them again if we have any other appliance issue.

They did a great job. They knew exactly what was wrong and what needed done to fix the problem. They gave me a quote over the phone and that was the price for the repair. They came the same day and had the problem repaired within a half hour. Very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

I was having a problem with my refrigerator. I called just to see how much they would charge for a service call. After I explained the problem he had me check a few things. He told me the problem was probably the evaporator fan in the back of the freezer. He was correct. My fridge is working great now. The repair was very reasonable

Kevin and Karen Harner were the most thoroughly professional, punctual, responsive, and friendly appliance repair team I've ever worked with! Not only did they respond to my messages promptly, they arrived at the exact minute they scheduled (which was within a day of them receiving the needed part) . They came prepared (no running in and out or back to the shop etc) and they told me precisely how to prevent another similar problem with my washer. They thoroughly cleaned the washer after fixing the door gasket and even salvaged a handful of socks from the sock cemetery inside the appliance. Their estimate was spot-on... no hidden surprises in the final bill. And their prices are very fair. I will certainly call them again when in need and I will refer them to friends and family for sure. They are a small, local, family operation and their friendly, personal service is a delight in this day and age.

Absolutely wonderful service! Initial call was answered. They were very helpful in determining what was needed. Price quote given. Part ordered and received and installed in a couple days. When I heard the loud grinding noise my old GE clothes dryer started making, I was ready to buy a new one. Fortunately. I checked Angie's List and found the listing for Harner's Appliance Services. I was a little dubious when I saw their almost unanimous positive reviews but I had them come out and check my clothes dryer. I am glad I did: It turns out that it was only a bobby pin stuck on the track of the drum. While this was just a simple, easily solved problem, I was able to learn a lot by watching them work and chatting with them. My impression is that they are very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, trustworthy and friendly. They were happy to answer my questions and their responses seemed well informed. They gave me free advice on a problem I was having with my stovetop. The charge for their service was reasonable. I think their high ratings are well deserved. Thank you Angie's List! I also really like Angie's List feature of being able to "Request a Quote" from a company. That is so convenient!

So the dryer died on Saturday. I called and left a message, figuring that I'd get a call back on Monday AM. Nope, they called me Sunday afternoon! We set up a time for Monday afternoon. Late on Monday morning, they called and asked if they could come by sooner, as they had a schedule change - this worked fine for us. Mr and Mrs Harner are fast-moving, direct-talking people who came right in and set to work immediately. We talked as they got underway; they knew the problem as soon as they heard the dryer, and had it confirmed within 10 minutes. Mrs Harner provided a quote on the spot - they had the part in their van and were able to repair it quickly. Their price was fair, they left the place cleaner than how they found it, and even quickly diagnosed a problem with our washing machine. We would definitely hire again.

Kevin examined the machine, found the issue—showing me what was wrong. Recommendation was to see if the part was still under warranty because repair cost would be high enough that he recommended considering buying a new machine. Appreciated his advice.

The first time they came they weren’t sure if a pump was bad so they only charged the service fee. The code came up again after they left & they came back the next day, replaced the pump & didn’t charge a second service fee. They were very understanding & reasonable.
