"I was very happy with the work. Mac responded quickly to my call. He was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done thoroughly. When Mac started the work he was efficient and respectful of my home. He worked neatly and cleaned up as he went. Before finishing he again informed of what was replaced and demonstrated how everything is now in working order. No more leaks! I would highly recommend Mac. He was honest, trustworthy and fair priced."

"I highly recommend Kleinbauer Mechanical for your heating and plumbing needs. They responded quickly and sent a wonderful young man Chris who was able to get my furnace up and running on a very cold Sunday. Chris was so helpful, took time to explain why the furnace shut down and showed me the issues that need to be addressed. I was so happy with the service I booked an appointment with Chris for future work before he left."

"I don't know where to begin, but I'll try to make this short. I had to move my handicapped mom and aunt from Beach Lake during the Pandemic real estate market in the Poconos. I had to turn a downstairs 1/2 bath and bedroom into a full bath ASAP for them to be able to bathe. Rich and his brother (sorry I forgot his name) and Greg overcame a super busy schedule, supply delays, even traveling hours to get the right stuff, and had a line on a structural engineer who helped us overcome structural issues . And the best part, they exceeded all of our expectations not only with a functional bathroom but an amazing high-end bathroom that made my mom's dream come true. These guys are pros who want to get it right and work around every obstacle, and we had them all. We thank God for Red Rooster and we hope their business continues to be fruitful. If you are considering these guys, don't hesitate another second and if you have to wait and you can, wait. You won't regret it. Ron Waymart PA"

The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

Technically, you can put an elongated toilet seat on a round toilet, but it’s not a good idea. Elongated toilet seats are a few inches longer than round toilets, so they will hang over the front edge of your toilet, which isn’t appealing. Additionally, an unsupported toilet seat or portion of a toilet seat is more likely to crack and shift, which could result in injury to whoever uses the toilet. Always match your toilet seat style to your toilet, or replace the toilet entirely if you’re looking to switch styles.

To avoid the high costs of plumbing repairs, watch for potential problems. If you see any signs of a leak, consider hiring a professional plumber. A pro can assess the level of damage and make the appropriate repairs.

Plumbing leaks are always better tackled immediately. You can also fix any minor repairs yourself or ask the plumber if they can use less expensive materials.

First, check that you have cut off the water supply to your toilet. This is a project that can only be done safely if running water cannot reach your toilet fixture. If you're seeing water trickle out after you've confirmed that the water supply is shut off, you can probably rest assured that what you're seeing isn't a problem. It's common for leftover water to spill out when you're removing your toilet's fill valve. If something goes wrong while you're working on your toilet, you'll need to look at your home's policy to see if your homeowner insurance covers water damage.

Yes, you should screw your flange to the subfloor, including cement. The best way to get this done is to predrill holes into the concrete using a hammer drill and a ¼-inch concrete bit. Be careful when you’re ready to bolt your flange down, as you can accidentally crack it. You can avoid this issue by not installing the screws too deep. Or, you can opt for a flange with a stainless steel ring so you don’t have to worry about cracking the plastic.
