"Part of our home is an 1850 stone farmhouse. The basement walls, two of which are built into a hill, were beginning to crumble and water was beginning to seep in. Edgar didn't just fix the problem, they exceeded our wildest imagination of what those walls could look like. We've been through some serious rain since and they are perfectly dry and look amazing! If the house falls today those two walls will still be standing! Very prompt service, reasonable priced and super easy to work with. We'll be hiring them again for some future stone wall repair upstairs."

"It went well. Chuck B. showed up right on time and did a great job. A little pricey, but I will pay more for the service I receive from Handyman Matters. A 1 year warranty on the work."

"Absolutely excellent. Tyler arrived promptly on the day that we had arranged and did a great job on my house. I had a lot of mold on the north facing side and that is totally gone. He told me that there was a spot that was stubborn and he couldn't remove some mold but I'll be darned if I could see it. He spent over 3 hours on our house and I am well pleased. Weebe Washin' will be getting my business again."

"Excellent! These guys ended up helping us twice and helped us do more than anyone would expect a typical junk removal company to do. They were sensible with what needed to be "junked" and what they could clean fill/recycle. They were careful when moving things so as not to damage our newly renovated property. Would absolutely hire again and recommend to anyone."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.
