"I can not say enough good things about Mike and his helper. He is very professional and does an excellent job. He communicates very well and keeps you informed of exactly what is happening and when he will arrive. He not only did the power washing of the deck, house and sidewalk, but also fixed the patio that was sinking in several areas. He saw that the piping under the patio was cut and replaced it. I am so happy with the job they have done. I am glad I found him. I have a lot more projects that I am anxious for him to complete."

"I needed to make sure my apartment was in tip top shape before moving out to get my security deposit back. Nonetheless David did a fantastic job painting in an efficient and clean manner. He gave me no issues at all and was very helpful in helping me color match the previous paint on the wall. I would recommend David to anyone in need of some work around the house. He does not disappoint!!"

"If you have a problem with your project that has been done, the owner of the company himself will come out And look over it and do whatever he can to make a 100% happy customer. Having an owner like this of the company reach out to make things 100% perfect For you is what a business should be All about. I will reuse this company for that reason. Being that the owner made things 100% right?"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Liquid rubber is great for waterproofing, but it can damage your deck if it’s not applied correctly. First, it can trap moisture in the wood if the deck isn’t completely dry before application.  Second, applying it too thickly can create a heavy, rubbery surface layer that peels and cracks under fluctuating temperatures. For the best results, ensure the wood is completely dry before application, and apply the liquid rubber in thin, even coats. A quick inspection every now and then will help you catch any issues early, keeping your deck protected and looking its best.

Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.

Constant exposure to inclement weather conditions can damage your deck, causing it to fade, warp, or crack over time. Regular maintenance keeps it looking and performing its best. That means giving it a good cleaning and applying a quality sealant or wood treatment to help defend against moisture, sun damage, and everyday wear.

Rags used with oil-based stains are highly flammable and can spontaneously combust in the right conditions. To reduce the fire risk, throw them in a metal container after use and add rocks on top to secure them. Add an inch of water and seal the container. Take the rags in the container to a hazardous waste factory as soon as possible.

Stains penetrate wood best when it's cool and dry, so you want to avoid moisture. If the wood is wet upon application, or if it rains before the stain dries, the water will soak into the wood and displace the staining solution. This leads to a flaky and blotchy look, which is the opposite of a sumptuous even coat. Once the stain has fully cured, after about 3 days, rain shouldn’t cause you any problems.
