Plumbing Installation and repairs including minor leaks, re plumbing lines, sump and grinder pumps, water heaters, fixtures, and Drain cleaning! Pool and Spa servicing including opening and closing. Appliance Installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. Fencing repairs and installs. Minor painting exterior and interior. General repairs around the home or business that you either 1. Not sure how to accomplish or 2. the big one.. you don't have the time to get to it. I am a 1 man operation with multiple years experience, schooling, and very dedicated to completing the various tasks and giving my clients the best possible experience and work that I can. Where you drain a hot tub largely depends on local regulations, but you must not drain chemically treated water where it can damage the environment. Algae-related green hot tub water is generally safe to use, as algae aren't usually harmful to your health. However, if the conditions in the hot tub are hospitable to algae growth, they may also be hospitable to the growth of other types of microorganisms, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, bacteria that can cause hot tub rash, or Legionella bacteria, which can cause respiratory illness.

The average life expectancy of a hot tub cover is between five and seven years. You can extend the life of yours by keeping it clean, using a soft cloth and mild dish soap; applying a vinyl protectant spray; using a cover lift to move and fold the cover carefully, rather than treating it roughly; protecting it from harsh weather; keeping kids and pets off the cover; and cleaning the underside of the cover with a chlorine spray. Investing in a quality cover will also help it last longer and look better.

The general rule of thumb is to lower it by about five degrees when you know you’re not using your hot tub for an extended period of time. With only a slight decrease in temperature, it will be easier to increase it to a desirable level when you’re ready to get back in the water instead of starting from scratch.
