The Healey Company IncExcellent. Amanda is an amazing design consultant and was with us the whole way. The company, under the watchful eye of Mr. Healey, was very responsive to our timing and needs, and made certain every detail of the renovation was to our satisfaction coming back multiple times to finish punch list items, repairs, etc etc. Would highly recommend! We have done many renovations over the years with different companies and this one stands out as incomparable!!!!- Emil Steven M.

Pricelight Electric Company LLCExcellent work throughout. Scott did a thorough walkthrough to get my requirements (and he had some good input); they produced an easy-to-read quote. The work was completed in one day, superb workmanship. Really happy with the outcome and highly recommend.- Robert R.

Pricelight Electric Company LLCVery well. They suggested replacing fluorescent light in basement w/ bad ballast with a LED fixture (we followed their advice--much better!), and all other work was done very efficiently and safely (face mask worn). Aware that we were working on our PCs, cautioned us prior to shutting off power to that part of home.- Thomas M.

Pricelight Electric Company LLCWe purchased a home that had electrical wiring suitable for 1975 (i.e., mostly ungrounded outlets & not enough outlets in each room); it also had no outlets on the third floor where there was a bedroom and full bath. We hired Pricelight to run new wiring for outlets to the first, second, and third floors (the house is about 700sf per floor). It was a little nervewracking at first because we had a deadline and it took them longer to start our job than we originally anticipated, but once they got there they took care of the work in a highly professional manner, went above and beyond (they replaced one outlet in the kitchen that wasn't part of the original bid so that it would aesthetically match the others, took the time to trace all of the old circuits so that the electrical box is now properly labeled, and even wired a plug to the new dishwasher that was delivered), and while they had to create some large holes in the walls in order to do the job, they patched them really beautifully and left everything really clean and neat. They followed COVID protocols while on the job and were great about communicating and explaining things to us. Their bid was about $500 more than the other bid we received, and we were glad we spent the extra money.- WENDY A.

BNQ IncVery well. Carmen did everything I requested with attention to detail . Excellent work and good communication. Very honest and trustworthy.- Patty G.

Pricelight Electric Company LLCPaul and his team are great! Of all the estimates we got for the work, Scott stood out because he listened to what we needed and knew about the house, gave reasonable suggestions based on his experience, and gave us a clear idea of what the work would entail. There was some difficulty in pinning down a date for the work, but that was the only hiccup we had in working with Pricelight. They showed up when they said they would, rather than giving a few hours as a "range" of arrival time each day, and his workers Paul and Nick checked in by phone when we couldn't be at the house and something came up. If other electric needs arise we will go to them first, and have already put in a good word with a neighbor.- D M.

AWESOME Electrical ServicesBrain and his team were excellent to work with. All projects were completed on time and at quoted price. AWESOME Electrical ServicesBrian and Von were absolutely incredible to work with!! We received a nest for our wedding about 6 months ago and had tried EVERYTHING to get it set up. We were back and forth with nest support, scouring YouTube videos and nothing was working. We called Brian and he originally tried to walk us through how to do it ourselves but we didn't want to spend any more time or frustration so we hired him to come out and take a look. Even though we were a small job in comparison to some of the other work he performs, he still made us feel valued and important. We definitely had an interesting case but he made sure to do whatever he needed to to get it working properly and we're so happy with the service and quality! I would absolutely hire them again and will recommend them to anyone needing electrical services!- Stephanie M.

AWESOME Electrical ServicesScheduling an appointment was easy and they were able to schedule me a date and time that was convenient for me. They also gave me an estimate on the cost and even tried to give me suggestions on performing the services myself so I didn't have to pay someone else to do it. On the day of the service to be performed they had called a half hour before to confirm my appointment and a heads up. Both Brian and Von were very professional and courteous. They had put on masks before entering my house and even asked if we wanted them to keep their shoes on or have them taken off. They described what they had to do to get my nest thermostat to work and kept me updated throughout the duration of the service. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure the thermostat, furnace, and air conditioner were working properly before leaving. I would definitely recommend Awesome Electric and will be using them in the future if I need to. Moreover, The price I paid and the effort saved from doing it myself I thought was very reasonable.- Cameron M.

James reached out to me right away in October, then was out for COVID til January; I had to call him the morning of the job to find out he wasn't coming. He said he would reschedule me first but did not...... He eventually did part of the job even though I alerted him I wanted to add on a few things since he quoted me. He said he would reach out and call me back to "come back and finish." I felt I had to keep bothering him to get a response, and he eventually did not come through.... I had to hire elsewhere and was thrilled with them instead! What a hassle for a simple job. :(

Anna was outstanding. She was upfront about the possible price increases/decreases. Further, she offered options for maintenance on outside outlets that I had not considered, but made a huge amount of sense. This was NOT bait and switch by any means, but the presentation of better, and in the long run more cost-efficient, options. Further, she was careful about mess and debris, as well as wearing a mask and social distancing in my home. I would certainly engage King Electric, and Anna, the next time I need electrical work done.

Recent Review:
The services rendered on March 1 were great and the two company workers were fast, informative, explained what was happening electrically, and answered my questions. It was a positive experience. However, I find the customer service aspect of the company itself (i.e., the owner) very poor, and I don't understand it. After his workers arrived and addressed our lighting/electrical issue, I attempted to hand over my Visa card to pay the bill that day. However, I was told the owner would "call" me and he'd take the numbers over the phone. (I never send my Visa numbers via mail.) Well, the owner never called. After 3 days, I started calling him and leaving voicemails. I left messages at least 5 times in 10 days, telling him I wanted to pay him and also schedule a small ceiling fan job around his larger jobs - but received no return phone calls back. (When his workers were here, they gave me a very loose, estimated cost range for taking a ceiling fan down, which was satisfactory. I even purchased a new lighting fixture for the job to prepare.) In my last phone message on March 12, I said I was puzzled by the lax response and it was the last time I would initiate contact. I also said I would be alerting Angie's list to the situation (via review). No matter what happened on the small company owner's end, not returning several calls to a customer is, as far as I'm concerned, extremely poor customer service. If something unusual or devastating happened to him personally, one would think he would have someone else contact us as a means of maintaining good customer relations. The sad part is, I'm wondering if he's not contacting us because he avoids small jobs nowadays; if so, he needs to realize that when small jobs are done satisfactorily, customers will keep the company in mind for large jobs in the future. At this point I have no desire to contact his company again because I'm a bit insulted by the situation. We definitely will pay the bill "if" he ever contacts me via phone. I just think other customers who are searching for an electrician for a small job need to be aware of his lax customer contact practices if they are thinking about hiring him.
