"Three Mountain Landscaping is wonderful! We used them to do a major clearing and clean-up on our wooded property. We bought this property and the yard had been neglected for years. Branches, leaves, and debris had piled up everywhere. The crews were hardworking, polite, and communicative. They were extremely effective."

"Bradley is a true professional. He was a pleasure to work with. He made sure I was happy with the work. I recommend him and would use him again. The best advice I can offer to anyone considering using Blue Cord Property Care is "Just do it" Bradley has shown exceptional knowledge, experience, and skill on this job. He is a former military veteran who loves this country and our great land. That was the clincher for me hiring him. Final project turned out great."

"Hired them in spring 2026 for a boulder ramp and grass seeding (about 360 sq ft), roughly $6,500 total. Two issues with the work. The topsoil they filled has since settled into a low spot deep enough that it's hard to push a mower across ? a grading issue that affects everyday use. And the grass they seeded was dead by early summer, within months of the install. They came back out and agreed to fix it by reseeding. I took that as standing behind the original work, so I was surprised when they sent a $400 bill for it ($250 labor, $150 seed and straw) ? essentially full price for a brand-new seeding job that size. I offered to pay the $150 for materials and asked them to cover the labor as making good on the install. I never received a reply after 10 days. The project price was reasonable, but the finish quality and the after-the-fact service didn't match it. If you hire them, get grading and finish expectations in writing up front."

"Wes is a very skilled operator and always a pleasure to work with. We used him for everything on our new house: land clearing, septic, propane tank burial, stormwater facilities, grading and seeding. Every job completed correctly and on time with great attention to site plan details. Good communication as well. We’ll continue to do business with KW!"

Land Clearing Services FAQs, answered by experts

A land survey can take anywhere from a few hours to a month or more, depending on the size of the property, the type of survey, the property’s accessibility and topography, and the availability of historical property records. A simple boundary survey to determine a fence line can be completed in a day while surveying 50 acres of undeveloped woodlands may take weeks or longer.

You will find a collection of licensed land surveyors in your area. Your real estate agent or construction manager may also be able to recommend a trusted professional. When speaking with prospective pros in your area, ask the land surveyor if they are licensed in the state, have liability insurance, and can quote you a fee before starting.

ALTA/ACSM surveys are the most comprehensive type of land survey and, as such, tend to be the most expensive. These surveys have standardized guidelines and reports and are used in many kinds of real estate transactions to ensure consistent and accurate information is available for properties.

Several government-backed lending programs can help first-time home buyers purchase a home with little money down. FHA, USDA, and VA loans are options for qualifying borrowers, though many conventional mortgage lenders will lower down payment rates to as low as 3 percent.

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.
