"I was not only in the market for a new patio but a new drainage solution. A recent flash flood was exacerbated by my concrete patio that seemed to keep water between my house and the grass. This led to water leaking in and potential water damage to my home. I got several different hardscapers to come to my house. Some provided a quote, but never called back. Others outright refused to do the job because I lived in an HOA community and they preferred not to deal with the back and forth with an HOA board. Some said my project was "too small". Even after a township bounced back my initial proposal, Shaun drew up a revised plan to accomplish what I still wanted to do without compromising the aesthetic of my patio. He always kept me updated on the cost expectations so I was never blindsided by any surprise expenses. Not only that, but the work was completed far quicker than I expected. "Met with Joe to express our needs and brainstormed different options and decided on an approach that was best for the existing layout. Joe is a great communicator throughout our entire experience, updating progress and arrival times, etc. The working crew did an all around awesome job from demolition of deteriorating walkway, driveway and porch to the laying the new areas. They were dry pleasant and personable to speak with. What was most impressive was the pride of their work and attention to details. When the driveway and side walk were poured, they took time to neatly backfill the edges with little spade shovels and level everything out. Their cleanup was impeccable to the point you would not have known they were even here. At the end of the project, they roped off the area to keep people off and dry properly to the point they will have to return to retrieve the poles and such. Joe also made it a point to take the time on the do‘s and don’ts of how to properly maintain. It’s"

"The old awning was relatively low and tended to trap heat. Rich suggested raising it and extending the coverage over the patio door. Excellent ideas, both. Rich and his crew removed the old frame, carefully saving the parts that would work with the new installation. The new frame is comfortably higher and very sturdy. The new fabric looks wonderful."

The concrete they poured and finished is for exposed patio areas in my yard, so the work placed needed to be of the highest quality. "My wife and I just had Oakland give us a quote, plan and then install, pour, a 8.5 cubic yard patio after removing the trex deck that it was time to retire around our inground pool. After removal of the deck it was discovered that there was electrical work that needed to be rerun to our pool pump house and a Jacuzzi we were replacing. This they had no problem incorporating into the job without batting an eye. Communication was good. And from the plan, to scheduling, to actually accomplishing the task, considering the bad weather we were having, everything was done professionally, and on time in spite of whatever obstacles were thrown in the way. The crew was professional and courteous, and went out of their way to protect all that was necessary around what they were doing. They went out of their way to meticulously clean up the job and ensure everything was to our complete satisfaction before calling it done. All was done in a timely manner in spite of the atrocious weather they had to work around and through in getting it finished. My wife and I could not be happier with the job, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have concrete work done for any reason."
