"This is a follow up review. It is not very often that a small business owner takes customer satisfaction as seriously as Drew and Jessica. When we had some issues with the older less reliable lighting programing software, Drew upgraded us at the cost of the new hardware and did not charge us a cent for the labor involved. The new Lutron system has been exceptional and it is helping us both, Envision and my budget, save money since it is rock solid. Envison Outdoor Lighting understands what real customer satisfaction means and I totally, unequivocally, recommend them for ANY installation in Central NJ and Eastern PA !!!. They are trustworthy, fair and honest and represent all that can be right with small business entrepreneurs in the U.S. in 2025! John DeBlase / Retired Global Customer Support Manager / Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. I do know a thing or two about Customer Satisfaction !!!"

"The team did a good job of creating a visually-appealing design from planning to execution. Our home looks extremely different and the landscape lighting was the finishing touches we needed."

"Mark is very knowledgeable in everything electric. We are a small business in the financial industry. We had an electrical problem which wasn't life threatening but it was at the end of the business day - He made the time to visit our office to assess our situation. He has an assistant, Joe and both are very professional and prompt. We plan on using Mark and Joe for other projects! I would recommend Mark and Joe, and guarantee satisfaction with their level of committed service!"

"I've used them a lot. They are my electrician. They will show up when I ask them if I have a problem, they are always very good about that, and they are very thorough. I never had any major issues with them at all. They are good when they come in, they are very respectful of everything, and they clean up very nicely. A lot of contractors don't do that. For their pricing, I think they are about average or a little above average."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Although security lighting may not deter a determined burglar, its presence will make your property that much less enticing to would-be trespassers. When paired with other types of home security systems like alarms and surveillance cameras, strong lights will better help you and the authorities identify thieves in the instance they attempt to break in or succeed at doing so.

The cost of lamp repair generally ranges from $30 to $150, with an average cost of around $75. Common repairs like rewiring or replacing a switch typically cost around $60 and $80, respectively. The final price depends on factors such as the type of lamp, the complexity of the issue, and the parts required. Keep in mind that repair costs may be higher for ornate or antique lamps. It's a good practice to ask for a price quote from a professional lamp repair service to determine if the investment is worthwhile.

Your maintenance needs revolve around the type of foundation you choose, as well as how you furnish or decorate it. Patios require little else other than the occasional hose-down, but decks and other wooden structures will require annual power washing and sealing. You may also need to restain the wood every two to three years.

Adding a solid roof rather than building a pergola or leaving the space open will make maintenance much easier. Without a roof, you will need to spend more time sweeping, washing, and covering your furniture to protect it from UV bleaching.

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.

If you take home a pre-lit Christmas tree but want to spruce it up with blinking lights, don’t worry, there’s a simple solution. You can easily replace the light bulbs on the pre-lit tree with flashing bulbs. For a more subtle look, only replace some of the bulbs with flashing bulbs.
