"Excellent work. Jon installed three pieces for me-a large picture over my couch, a landing mirror, and a wall clock-and handled each one with precision. He found studs, used the right anchors, and double checked the leveling. He worked efficiently and made sure that I was happy with the placement. Highly recommended."

"We've decided to go with TLK, but haven't actually got the job done yet. Will get back when job is finished. 05-07-10 The job is finished, we had a few glitches with weather but everything was done on time & in a professional manner. The days the job couldn't be done Tim showed up in person & explained why. He kept us informed of details & we actually got on the roof & inspected the job ourselves & are extremely pleased with the outcome."

"AB did great work at my house. I hired him to tear down my dining room wall to extend my kitchen, install new kitchen cabinets and re route my drainage/water lines to my new sink location and finish all carpentry/drywall of the project. He was very professional with great prices and intelligence of the trades."

Trampoline Assembly FAQs, answered by experts

In most cases, your professional playground installer will put down a playground surface before assembling the fun-filled system. However, you should ask your installer about this service before booking an installment date. Most playground equipment installation companies offer service add-ons like leveling the area, laying down a surface, building a border to keep the surface material contained, and setting up the swing set.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

If you decide an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop is best for you, you should consult a basketball hoop installer. They will have the necessary tools and experience to install these correctly and safely. If you were to try to install these yourself, there is a risk of injury or improper installation, which could lead to damage to the hoop or your yard.

If you want to know from the outset how much you’re likely to pay to install an outdoor basketball court, create a budget breakdown that lists the following expenses:

  • Labor: How many work hours will you need, and what is the average price of labor in your area?

  • Materials: What material do you plan to use, and what is the average price per square foot?

  • Drainage, grading, and laying cement slabs: Do you need to level or prep your area? Have a professional evaluate your property to determine what you will need to pay a contractor to do this work.

  • Hoops, lighting, fencing, painting lines, and other extras: What extras are non-negotiable? Create a list of all of the extras you want your court to have.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.
