"October 2013 was the second time I had Dan from American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing do work at my house.  The first job a couple years ago was to replace the shutoff valve on the line to the outside hose bibb.  The second time (October 2013) was for the 3 jobs listed above.  Both times the work was done professionally and in a timely manner.  Both valve replacements were done with higher quality parts than the builder had used.  After the initial installation, the shower needed adjusting to run hotter and getting that done took a single phone call, and it was done the next day.  So I would say American Drain is responsive to calls after the primary job is done.  The cost for the 3 jobs in October 2013 included the hardware & labor. Based on experiences I have had with other plumbing companies in the area, American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing is more reasonable.  I would recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

They took the time to discuss installation options , esp. with my wife and she really appreciated that. Carl even said he'd come back and put the fixtures on if I had problems for no charge! "A week ago they were supposed to do the work.  The electrician came and told me that I did not have the right kind of lighting fixture that was necessary for one of the installations.  We agreed for him to come back one week later after I got the right fixture.  So he did the installation of both today. It went very well.  They arrived when they said they would and were punctual.  Their price was very good and they handled both jobs well."

On Monday morning I received a call confirming that technician was on the way within 20 minutes. Chris arrived on time, he evaluated the water heater that needed to be replaced, explained what needs to be done and come up with a fair quote. We scheduled installation on Wednesday at 8:00 am. "The customer service representative from The Plumber was very friendly and accommodating when scheduling the appointment.  The plumbing technician, Willie Day, was very prompt, actually a few minutes early.  He identified himself and was extremely professional.  Willie did an excellent job removing the existing toilet and installing the new one.  He was very respectful and professional during the service.  Willie took care to protect the flooring in the bathroom, he was clean and neat with the removal and install.  The job went perfect.  I would definitely use The Plumber and Willie again.

"The audit went well.  The follow-on work (water heater replacement, heat pump replacement, and caulking).
They did a pretty good job.  They did sub out the water heater and heat pump parts.  The new water heater had a heat pump unit on it too.  The water heater had an alarm that went out and was eventually replaced.
The subs did test my patience when they started late and ended even later than they said they would.  I eventually told them they had to get out at a certain time.
I took a year to write this because I wanted to back it up with cost savings info.  Unfortunately, the jury is still out on whether or not the system is paying for itself.
