"Ray and the entire team were excellent! I had previously received an estimate from another company, but they used subcontractors for the actual work and this concerned me. Another company came out and took measurements, but never gave me an estimate. I got the feeling the job was too big for them. I was now really hesitant to trust anyone to do the work and wanted to make sure they were going to do it right. I went to the BBB and found Betterliving with an A+ rating. From the beginning, I felt comfortable. They explained everything, were more than open to additional phone calls to clarify any questions I had and gave me an estimate very quickly. While I knew the work would not be started for several months, I received weekly phone calls from Michele, so I felt informed the whole time. They even took care of the permit that was required, so I didn't have to do any paperwork, handle the fee or answer questions. Mike was great about getting the measurements and he let me know the work would not start until he made sure all of the pieces were available. Frank was super with the installation. He treated the entire project as if he were working on his own home. The payments were done over the duration of the project, so I didn't feel like I was handing over my money without anything in return. And the final payment was not due until I was satisfied with the work completed. The warranty provided on the materials was excellent. I'm happy I decided on Betterliving and have been enjoying my patio cover every chance I get! A long time dream is finally a reality."

"Mike had answered my urgent request and arranged his schedule to get my pool concrete resurfaced and cracks sealed. He and Dave made every attempt to not get the ground concrete into my pool. Both were so friendly and worked so well together to get the job done in one day. I would highly recommend their business, they are exceptional workers!"

"Zach mis measured a foundation on step #1, made the wood structure fit in the cheapest and laziest way. Concrete pillars were supposed to be hidden under the shed (I also supplied a drawing from another contractor to go by) and they now extend past so I am not able to just easily landscape around them as well as some of the brackets literally hanging off of the pillars. A couple of the concrete screws did not draw down all the way, a normal person would find out why and fix but nope they left it this way, pictures in the link!! The foundation was not square and it is to wide as well due to this mistake. I also had to shim multiple areas due to the foundation not being level. He promised to come back and help with some landscaping and some sort of flashing on the back to help hide the mistakes and most importantly keep water off the wood, I even had him give me a paid receipt saying he will return to help and then disappeared. I have linked pictures and a video of the terrible workmanship. Would not recommend. A follow up and help with some of the landscaping would have been very appreciated. { Removed google link}"

"They arrived on time, they were very meticulous when working on my driveway. They made sure all cracks or fissures were sealed well. They inspected the surface very carefully after they were finished. Asked if I was satisfied with work. I said I would give them additional work for next time needed and set a date."

"I interviewed 3 people involving concrete and tying in a french drain and he explained everything in such a way that it was very detailed very good. I was so impressed with him that I have hired him for 5 other jobs. He goes above and beyond. Sometimes he'll tie in small jobs into the larger project. I wish all contractors were like him. He is there on sight himself which is very important. He does not leave your job for someone elses job. He will stay until your job is done. Everything is out in detail on the contract. No unhappy surprises with him."

"I am very happy with Stout Contracting, LLC. Adam responded promptly and submitted a fair bid for the concrete pads that we wanted. We were adding to our existing driveway, for the purpose of buying and installing a shed. It was December and we talked about starting the job around the 1st of April or whenever winter was over. Adam contacted me promptly in April and we set a date to begin the work in a couple weeks. He showed up exactly when he said he would and started working. The driveway work proceeded quickly and the concrete was poured several days later. It looks great! He did a great job. He had the tools he needed and additional manpower when needed. We have a brand new shed now. We've been very busy trying to decide what to move into the shed and getting it set up. Didn't realize how much work it would take to get the shed painted and the inside designed. Sorry it took so long for me to get to the review."
