"He arrived punctually and showed me various photos of mail boxes on his smart phone and associated pricing. He subsequently went to Lowes and picked out one. Upon his return he was excited to tell me that he found a mail box cheaper than the one we agreed upon and it had a magnetic door on both ends. He dug up the old mail box and post (with a tool I was able to borrow from a neighbor), concreted in the new post and fastened the new mail box enclosure over the post. He also affixed new address numbers on the post. Looks awesome. He carted away the old post and box. A job beautifully done! He also was able to give me both a senior and military discount."

"Colmar Contracting is the best. We contacted four separate contractors in May/June for estimates to paint our home this summer. We were reluctant to bring in others to work on our home as we try to do all of our own house projects. Painting is not one of our strengths and therefore we decided to contract out for quality of work and timely completion of such a large project. With most estimates being fairly similar, we decided to work with Colmar and were not disappointed. Along with listening to our ideas as to what we wanted, they also provided expert insight into those ideas and helped shape our final decisions. The painters showed up promptly and ready to work hard every day. They were very accommodating to me as I was off work and home during the time frame they were working in our home. The painters were friendly, courteous, and attentive to our requests. They finished painting our entire home in only eight days. Our biggest concern was attention to detail and we are very impressed with the quality of their wok as well as their willingness to meet our demands and go above and beyond expectations. "Project took a little longer than expected with making the forms for the cement, as the man doing the work didn't understand exactly how Mark Pawling wanted it done. Mark was at a different job site and not available. However, once Mark was here things went much better. Overall he and his crew did an excellent job, and made sure we were happy with the job. The job started on Monday and was completed to our complete satisfaction the following week on Tuesday. I felt Mark really listened to us and did the work the way we wanted it done."

An ice storm had destroyed the gutters and fascia along the rear of my home, so I decided on full gutter replacement. I could not have found a better company to hire for the job.
