"A+ Landscaping did an absolutely outstanding job designing and constructing a new patio for us. When originally built, our house had a 10'x12' concrete pad that was not very functional. We wanted a new and larger patio that would be conducive to outdoor entertaining and also be very attractive, while also complying with local stormwater management ordinances. Marcus came out to our house, sketched out a design, and gave us some great ideas. When completed, the patio was about 450 square feet, with Techo Bloc permeable pavers, sitting walls, pillars, and and low voltage lights on a timer. ([*** Link removed ***] This was not an easy project, as the local Township stormwater management regulations required careful planning, extensive excavation, and an infiltration bed to be installed underneath the patio. In addition to the patio, A+ Landscaping also installed some river rock in an area where grass doesn't grow well, three large stepping stones, new mulch beds and plantings along one side of the patio as well as along one side of the house, and also installed three pop-up rain spouts in the yard. They started the project when promised and worked straight through until completed four days later. They also reseeded areas that were excavated. I am biased, but I believe we have the nicest patio of the more than eighty homes in our community! We spent about $17,000 for everything, but that included the patio and landscaping work. It was well worth the investment."

Where I had green shrubs and a few daffodils I now have colorful flowers and a beautiful, unusual azalea all surrounded by black mulch which really shows off the colors. "     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
