"A+ Landscaping did an absolutely outstanding job designing and constructing a new patio for us. When originally built, our house had a 10'x12' concrete pad that was not very functional. We wanted a new and larger patio that would be conducive to outdoor entertaining and also be very attractive, while also complying with local stormwater management ordinances. Marcus came out to our house, sketched out a design, and gave us some great ideas. When completed, the patio was about 450 square feet, with Techo Bloc permeable pavers, sitting walls, pillars, and and low voltage lights on a timer. ([*** Link removed ***] This was not an easy project, as the local Township stormwater management regulations required careful planning, extensive excavation, and an infiltration bed to be installed underneath the patio. In addition to the patio, A+ Landscaping also installed some river rock in an area where grass doesn't grow well, three large stepping stones, new mulch beds and plantings along one side of the patio as well as along one side of the house, and also installed three pop-up rain spouts in the yard. They started the project when promised and worked straight through until completed four days later. They also reseeded areas that were excavated. I am biased, but I believe we have the nicest patio of the more than eighty homes in our community! We spent about $17,000 for everything, but that included the patio and landscaping work. It was well worth the investment."

"We called MC electrical LLC and he came out within two days to give an estimate for our landscape lighting and had an estimate emailed over to us within 24-48 hours after coming out!! "It looks beautiful now.  In one area there were three azalea bushes that had grown together.   They had been there for at least 15 years and did not flower much, due, I am sure, to my lack of care.  Other areas were mainly weeds, stones, dirt and one or two roots left from a tree that I had taken down years ago.
Mr. Armstrong removed the azaleas and the weeds, roots and stones then leveled the ground and put down a fabric to keep the weeds from returning, then covered it with a beautiful, dark mulch.  Then he planted some perennial flowers and a few shrubs.   It looks great and is very easy for me to take care of.  I will be using my deck much more now.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Excellent results.  They we extremely helpful from the start to finish,  Reasonable pricing and very responsive to our needs.  We live in an older home which required some creative installing on their part. They handled it very well and showed they were masters of their craft.  We are very pleased with the results.

Follow Up:

Repaired the electrical lines on the 2nd flr of my home.

The lights went out on one side of the 2nd floor of my home. It took two days to fix and 5 men. After they left I realized my doorbell and air conditioner didn't work. I called Joe and he came out after 2 weeks and fixed the air conditioner. He said he had the parts for the doorbell in his other truck and he would come back. I haven't seen or heard from him since. Since then, I realized that my pole light out front stopped working. He won't return any of my calls."
