The wall was built with approximately 500 versa lok blocks. Once the wall was built it was backfilled with gravel to provide the proper drainage and then top soil was brought in to finish the leveling of the area. Once that was done a railing made of stone pillares with built in lights with cedar rails that had aluminum/bronze balusters was added to complete the railing. In the spring, after allowing the topsoil to settle over the winter, more top soil was brought in to put the finishing touches and leveling of the area, grass was planted and a wooden play/swingset was then erected with a 6x6 border and filled with mulch for my childrens safety. A paver patio approx 15x15 was also built by excavating an area and grading the area with gravel, base, and sand to level the area. The pavers were a design that includes a circle in the center and rectangle pavers around it and a concrete curb to finish the edges. The finishing touch was a stone firepit that was built into the pavers. I had to call them twice to see if they were going to actually come. My heat had dropped to 51 degrees in the house. They arrived within 5 hours of calling. The technician immediately located the problem: a bad tank on my hot water baseboard heat. He said that it was not an expensive fix ($40). He had one in the truck. He later decided he needed to replace two air bleeders and one dial. He replaced them and bled the lines. This took two hours. After he left I noticed I had no hot water. I had to call them back to find out why. Apparently the tech forgot to flip a and quot;priorityand quot; switch. I said I could do this myself and removed the cover from the box and flipped the switch. The hot water was back in 20 minutes. My heat is working fine now. The bill was $395, a bit of a shock, but much better than replacing the furnace. This company came out to repair a flower box that was separating from the wall it was attached to, fix some crumbling steps and clean the brick. It turned into a French drain and LOTS of money. They did not do any of the jobs satisfactorily and cut the wires to out outdoor landscape lights....

Keystone Remodeling and Restoration, we are local, family-owned, and we provide top-notch, quality work at a fair price. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service; before, during, and after your project is complete.
"The Pro was outstanding No materials were necessary. The job took approximately 15 minutes.
I am a disabled 73 year old Vet and my wife is 83. Everyone knows that people in our category are on fixed incomes. I was charged 395 for 15 minutes to replace 2 short facia sections. The price is predatory in my estimation. So seniors beware.
I agreed to the price because I couldn't find anyone else and the job needed to be done for safety reasons. This is not an excuse to take advantage of the elderly."

"I hired this group after my dad passed away to clear his old camp trailer from the property it sat on and have had the worst experience. The contracted job is not done though the group has cashed my check in addition to taking anything valuable out of the structure before being torn down and hauled away as part of the deal. To date, one year later the structure still stands with very little work done. I have been given excuse after excuse but nothing has moved forward. I am now left with having to spend even more money on a new company I have to contact to complete the job as there was a deadline for when this needed to be removed. No one from this company, including owner Herb has responded to my recent calls, texts or emails.
I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone."

"Installed bad parts, wanted to charge another job to fix. Plumbing leaking in wall if tub is used. Caulking separated within 48 hours. Popcorn sprayed all over my skylight. Called me a liar multiple times, saying he warned me of bad parts. Not true. Shady company, unwilling to resolve anything they messed up. Pictures and texts will be posted on social media to come. (After ripping me off, he also ruined a neighbors remodel up the Street from me, also overcharged) I was quoted 22$ an hour for him, 15$ an hour for his helper for 40 hours. They both were they together COMBINED working 25 hours for 1700$ labor. That's 68$ each ... Unreal. Good luck"

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Clarion, PA
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
