I do remember them having the appointment set up and something happen with my glass so they had to reschedule the appointment so I think it broke or something. The work wasn't bad it was the clean up that really piss me off and it was kind of in the winter time so they kind of track mud all over in the house and they didn't really cleaned that up so I was kind of mad about that.

his review is in general response for the company. I had all my windows done within the last 5 years in Connecticut. Even though there price was high, we did our research and chose champion windows as our contractor. We were satisfied with the experience, and the installers were awesome. The problem began when trying to contact the company a few years later due to some seal failures and a couple of other issues, which are covered under champion windows lifetime guarantee. We contacted the general number for the company and spoke to them and they assured us that it would be taken care of. So we waited, and no call,called the following week same assurance, and no call, called the third week, and was told she would talk to her supervisor and get back to us, and no call. Called one more time, and the same. So In between this I emailed there corporate, rhode island, and ny branches trying to get someone to help with my problem, same outcome, no response. At this time we have now sent a complaint to the BBB, and guess what no response from Champion! I have gone from a generally satisfied customer to a really 
un happy customer. I am posting this review to warn all consumers of the false promises that this company offers, and there guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on! I also own a non related industry a+ rated angies list  business, and I am amazed at the situation I have been put in. We spent $24000 on all our windows, and now we are looking at possibly having to replace or repair our new windows ourselves!! BUYER BEWARE!

Our installer was excellent and very professional - cleaned up every day - we absolutely love our new windows!!

They did a very good job. They are very competent. They did a great job cleaning up after the services.

They actually were able to do the installation about 3 weeks earlier than originally planned which was a plus.  However instead of the estimated 1 week for completion it took about a month total.  2 of the window units and one wall section were the wrong sizes when delivered from the factory and could not be used.  The installers completed all they could and erected plywood to keep the weather out for the 3 weeks or so it took to get the correct items manufactured and delivered.  As soon as the replacements were available they interrupted work on another job to finish our project.  Only 1 day was required to finish.  This was not the fault of the local Champion office but rather a factory error.

The windows are custom fit so it took a month from the time we signed the contract to the installation. The service worked out amd they did a great job. They were on time and didn't leave anything undone.

The door frame they installed was too small and not to my satisfaction. They came back and replaced the frame with no problems and now everything is wonderful.  Sometimes they were on time and other times they were late. It depended on which crew came out to do the work. I did think it was expensive and I paid more because I was expecting them to do the job right the first time. Overall, I was pleased but I am not sure I would use their service again. The quality of the door is great but there were problems with the installation.

I feel if I contact a company, they should know their product and guide you through.  After all if I call you, you should know your product.

And before even checking for a response (Roy did respond the same day)
I went to their web site, and read everything, all information Champion provided on line.
I took it upon myself to drive almost 60 miles round trip to go to their show room in Harrisburg.
When I was there that is when an appointment was made for Roy to come to my home.
Everything they claim about their products is true
They do in fact manufacture their products
When I was able to see first hand the quality of their Doors- Windows- Sunrooms, I to this day am speechless
I honestly had tears driving home, because when I compare their products to what was installed into my
home, words honestly can not describe the difference.
It will take Roy a week or so to be able to give me an estimate.
I look forward to doing future business with Champion of Harrisburg.

To imagine what my home will look like compared to now is very over whelming.

The salespeople at Champion Windows, Siding & Patios-Harrisburg are very good. They offer a good product. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, if their prices and quality were right. They were excellent and very professional. They're good people.

Siding looked nice, but they had a limited selections of styles.  Windows were all vinyl and looked Ok, not the best looking I've seen.  Visit to demo and do estimate was very long, close to 3 hrs.

My update as of 9/04/2013. I have had to call Champion 3 times because I cannot lock or unlock my sliding door from the outside with my key. Now I can barely get my door to lock from the inside. I am legally blind. Do I really need to have my sliding door unlocked at all times? If I could go and come through my sliding door my life would be easier. My main entrance through the building is difficult for me to maneuver. I was told by Champion that I will receive a new lock when they are sent out to the stores. When that could be I don't know. I am very disappointed in this sliding door. If I had it to do over again a door that swings open and closed would of probably worked better and had a working lock compared to this piece of crap. I now have to figure out how to secure the door at night so it can't be opened. A mop stick to jam my door shut? I paid for better quality than this. This door is sold with a lifetime warranty. Also has the Good Housekeeping seal. I am not happy.

I signed a contract with them and will be using them. The fellow who came out explained everything very well and seemed to be knowledgeable on everything.

Champion constructed an all glass sun room on an existing patio adjoining our house. They were very prompt with estimating, delivery and construction. They were able to customize the construction according to our vision. They met all of our expectations. The quality of the sliding windows and French doors appears to be excellent.

From the visit of the sales rep to the purchase of the doors to the installation, we found all our dealings with Champion to be more than satisfactory.  The salesman was knowledgeable, and we were never pressured.  The installers were on time and efficient.  The new doors have been in now for 7 months. Not only are they beautiful, but all indictions are that the installation was very well done.  I would recommend Champion to anyone.

We sat down and made the plans and measurements and talked about what I needed and wanted.  They got the permit ...work soon began, the men moved quickly...all is looking very good and nice.  Still waiting upon completion...all are so very nice!

It was the first time we had used them. It went well. They were very nice.

The approximate cost was $500 per window and $2,000 per door. I probably would not use them again in the future; the products have a lifetime warrenty, and Champion is the only company that offered a lifetime warrenty. I have had to call for adjustments to both doors, and their repairman was here within 2 days and made the necessary adjustments at no additional cost to me.
