"Twice last year we had them clean our clogged 2nd-story gutter. Each time, the crew they sent showed up on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. Very prompt email Q&As and followup from Jonathan, the owner. We're about to hire them again for our fall gutter cleaning!"

"They came in to clean for a well used tile kitchen floor. Gabe explained all their processes, and was very kind treating us just like family but professional every step of the way. 100% recommend using this business for any cleaning or restoration needs! My kids were fascinated with the whole thing and Gabe was so patient and relaxed around the chaos."

Small jobs welcome

"He was on time and ask me several questions about what I was looking to have cleaned. We walked through the rooms and he explained what he would be doing, how long it would take and the cost. He also ask if I wanted cinnamon or fresh scent. He did a great job I just moved into the house and thought the carpet was tan. After he cleaned it we realized it was a beautiful green. I highly recommend him"

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should not clean roof shingles if the roof has damage like missing shingles or low spots where water may accumulate. You should focus on repairing the roof before any cleaning process occurs. If you notice roof damage as you’re climbing on the roof to clean it, stop immediately. Call a roofing pro to make repairs. Cleaning a roof that has damage could lead to pooling water or water damage to the roof decking. The roof cleaning process removes mold and mildew, making the roof look better. It is not going to fix physical damage, though.

It is a bad idea to try to walk on a roof with snow on it. In fact, you should stay off your roof all year long, even when it is dry and sunny outside. There are too many things that can go wrong, and one misstep can cause serious injury or even death.

Rather, if you need to get something done on your roof, call in a pro. They have the right experience and know-how to get things done safely on a snowy roof, including snow removal.

It’s possible that installing solar panels can lead to mold on the roof. The panels themselves are not the issue. Problems caused by improper installation—such as roof leaks and mounts that aren’t sealed properly—can cause mold. Another potential cause of mold is debris accumulation under panels, which can trap moisture. If you live somewhere with extreme snow, rain, or hail, your home could be more prone to mold.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.
