"We hired Shamrock to clean our chimney and that's what they were going to do. Big change in plans when they saw that we'd had a chimney fire that we didn't even know about. They took out the old metal flue and installed a new one. This involved taking the Jotul insert apart. Excellent job done professionally by very nice men. We were very pleased, from Jen, the woman who set up the appointment to the end of the job. Tonight we are warm and SAFE thanks to Shamrock."

"He did a great job. Jack is very careful in his work to make sure things are measured correctly, that everything lines up and that colors ( when there are multiple boxes of things to be installed) match."

"The job was delayed by due to abnormally cold weather, however once the work was started it was completed in a professional and timely manner. For example: the unit was being installed in a garage/workshop. When asked my opinion on some duct work that had been installed, I replied that it looked real good and added why be so picky since it was in a garage. The answer was that the job would be done right and they took pride in their work. Excellent answer! I was extremely impressed with the clean up on completion. I would highly recommend Keith to anyone considering HVAC work and are looking for a professional that takes pride in his work."

FAQs for fire pit installation projects in Central, PA

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
