"I would not hire him again. His communication skills could use some improvement. It took over a month to get him to finally start my project as he put us off at east two weeks longer than he said he would be able to start. He managed to drop a piece of tile in my new tub making a dent in the acrylic but denied doing it. Overall the work was okay for the price he charged but after a day or so I started finding little things that could have Been done better had he just taken the time and noticed. He left the job unfinished never returning with the final small piece of tile that was never placed. I had to finish myself. He couldnt wait to finish the job and get out of there his final day."

"Extensive prep work with peeling white paint on top of dark wood, needed to be sanded extensively.  Ceiling work, patchng, careful trim work on ceilings and panels, polyurethane built in china cabinets and banister. Excellent work on ceilings, walls and trim. They were responsive when a test area showed color we chose was not what we wnated and we were able to choose another color before a large room was painated.  Be sure to specify that both sides of door frames are to be painted. They were very responsive when we noted polyurethane drips on a painted wall and Dan came on a Saturday to fix it. Work done included ceilings, walls, baseboards, trim, doorways for a large living room, dining room, 2 breezeways, stairway to second floor with banister and spindles and second floor hallway. Took 3 weeks to complete. Pay attention to detail."

"Home Crafters completed a big project at my house in March 2012. We had a 10 foot section of a load bearing wall removed between the living room and dining room. The price quoted was very fair and competitive with the other bids I had received ($2800 for everything). They also agreed to center the opening along the wall, rather than starting at the one wall and opening up a 10 foot section that would be skewed toward one side (something that other contractors said was the only possible solution). Once the team had started, they realized that the return vents were not in the usual place, and they would need to expand the construction project to re-run the vent work. This was an additional cost to us, but Home Crafters agreed to complete that project at cost.  
I could not be happier with their work. The team was very professional and accommodating, the wall looks perfect, and I don?t have anything negative to say about Jim or his team. Even though we ran into delays, everything was completed very professionally and with great attention to detail. They even moved two outlets from the now open section of the wall to the remaining segments. I would highly recommend this group for any home construction projects. We plan to remodel our master bathroom in another year or two, and Home Crafters will definitely be our first call."
