"I chose Your Electric Now after much research and after getting two other estimates, and could not be happier. John came to the house and did a complete evaluation and estimate, and answered every one of my questions (there were many!) at that time, between then and the install, and during the installation. You can install a three-prong outlet without connecting any ground and plug in three-prong electronics into that outlet. The devices will function normally, but you won’t get any of the protection that grounding provides, so there’s an increased risk of serious problems if something goes wrong.

There are several things to try to repair a broken outlet. Whether it's fixable or not may depend on the problem and the type of outlet itself.
