"We chose Dan based on his knowledge of the work that needed done. Repaired bowing walls in the basement, installed a french drain around the perimiter of the basement, installed two sumps and replaced a water damaged sill beam at the top of the foundation. The sill beam damage was caused from an outside patio sloping toward the house. The solution was to remove a portion of the patio (not the entire patio), which provided access to the sill beam and rim joist. Replacing the sill beam required jacking the basement joists up to repair the sag in the floor and install the new sill beam. The patio concrete was repaired neatly with a strip seal drain against the house to catch any water draining toward the house. Nice solution to the the problem. Dan provided the most economical solution to my bowing wall problems, carbon fiber straps for the areas where the wall bowing was less severe and steel beams where the wall bowing was much worse. In comparison to other companies quoted, Dan provided the most repair work for the money and in one case 1/3 less. Dan was able to start work within a week, not months like some companies, and finished the work as indicated, could not have asked for more. When the job was complete the area was cleaned up nicely and the concrete work and sill beam replacement looked great. We are very happy with Dan and would recommend him to anyone needing waterproofing work, most economical, fair, upfront, does what he says and completes the job quickly not over a long period of time."

"Corey was very professional and came to my house twice to quote my job and answer questions even though we are over an hour away in Pittsburgh. He did excellent work with his excavator- he is very precise with the shovel and dug the 60’ trench in a very tight spot. He and his coworker installed schedule 40 pvc for water at a depth of >40” and for electrical at a depth of 18”. He threaded the supply line and also my electrical as he dug the trench. He was friendly and patient even when our footer was 2’ thick and required an extra 4 hrs of jackhammering, which he did charge me for. His price was half that of two plumbers that quoted my job. "Absolutely recommend Poseidon Waterproofing. From the beginning through the end all employees listened, were knowledgeable, and worked non-stop. We had their inside waterproofing done in the basement and 29 feet (ca. 9 m) of outside french drains installed. Job turned into a problem child when a sewer line got broken inside, and a slab of cement was discovered while digging outside. These guys worked for three days in rainy 36 degree weather digging by hand the 2 foot x 4 foot x 29 foot trench needed for the drains. Cannot say thank you enough for a job well done. The system is working already and we are so happy."

"We had a pipe break in our second floor bathroom. We were able to stop the leak the morning after the leak happened, and we called our insurance, and they told to call S I restoration. They sent out a crew of 4 or 5 people, tore out the carpet, and set up fans that eventually dried everything out. We started to notice that it was a while before anyone from SI restoration would come in and actually start the restoration. The demolition crew was very prompt, but not the restoration crew. When they finally would come out, they would only work for 2-3 hours and then they would disappear. The work they did was very good. The bad news is that they would send out workers and there would be very inexperienced supervisors of the workers that would come out. When the supervision is bad, the workers don't seem to work all that hard. We complained to our insurance agent because we hired them upon his recommendation, he was disappointed in them. We tried to talk to the owners, but they were out of town, and the people that they sent were so inexperienced, it was nearly impossible to work with them. We simply wanted to get the work done. My husband complained to the company and things improved from there. From there, the work started to pick up. One thing that really upset me was that they turned in hours into the insurance company that both myself, and the inexperienced supervisor knew wasn't accurate. The good news again, is that once they finally completed the job, was that it was a very good job. The bad news was that it was very poorly managed."
