Myself and my employees take pride in what we do down to the smallest detail. We offer all aspects of interior and exterior painting; we also specialize in cabinet refinishing and faux finishes.

They look brand new and match perfectly with the cabinet boxes. Also, in regards to our basement, he brought a paint representative to examine our flooring since it had been sealed before incorrectly by a basement sealing company. The owner and his workers did great work on about 5 different areas of our house, ranging from holes that had been punched into walls from previous electrical work, damage that had been done during storms and leaking gutters, and cracks in some rooms due to subsidence. In each case, the work was done professionally and completely, addressing the issues and leaving each area looking like new. The employees were very experienced and skilled, making some difficult repair situations look amazing. They treated our home like their own, even repairing some minor issues they spotted that were not initially requested. All of the crew were diligent in cleaning the rooms and closet areas that had been worked on. We found Robert Dell'aquilla Plastering by searching and researching previous reviews. "These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

Unlike high or semi-gloss paint finishes, which can create an excessively reflective effect in indoor spaces, the sheen in satin is understated and right at home on interior walls. If, on the other hand, you don’t want any level of shine at all, consider opting for a flat paint or another similarly sheenless alternative like matte. 

The best ways to protect floors when painting depend in part on the type of paint you’re using.  When you’re using latex paint, most people will choose a drop cloth consisting of canvas, plastic, or heavy paper to protect the floor. If you are using oil-based paint, you may want to select a waterproof plastic sheet that will keep any paint from seeping through.

Using a roller allows you to apply a mist coat quickly to avoid uneven spots while drying, but it can create streaks and splatters from the watery paint. Applying with a paintbrush can take longer but may be less messy. There are pros and cons to using either a roller or a brush for the mist coat. The mist coat is diluted, so it can be messier to work with, but it also dries quickly.
