At the current time we are employing three journeyman plumbers each working out of our well stocked service box vans with thousands of parts on hand so you don’t have to pay us to go shopping. The majority of our work is referred by satisfied customers. This is why we don’t advertise big in all the phone books. Low overhead keeps the cost down for our customers. Our rates are billed hourly at $99.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum.

Pipes can freeze in one night, depending on the temperature and location of your pipes. If the temperature is below 20 degrees, your pipes could freeze in under six hours. Well-insulated pipes might take longer to freeze, but you should follow local guidelines for preventing frozen pipes. How quickly your pipes can freeze can also depend on where you live and the type of pipes.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

While you shouldn’t increase the flow of your low-flow toilet by adjusting the water level in the toilet bowl set by the manufacturer, you can make the flow as efficient as possible by ensuring the rim jets under the rim are unobstructed. Installing a clawfoot tub with a minimum of 6 inches of clearance from surrounding walls allows ample room for the faucet and pipework, makes cleaning easier, and reduces the chance of moisture being trapped between the tub and the walls. It might need to be closer if the faucet comes directly out of the wall.
